Equal Opportunity & Accommodations
At Perceptyx, we're on a mission to help organizations turn employee insights into measurable impact. Our AI-enabled employee experience platform leverages the science of listening, behavioral nudges, and predictive analytics to help clients elevate engagement, retention, and performance. We're a team of innovators fueled by purpose, collaboration, and excellence — and we're looking for someone who wants to play at the highest level.
Perceptyx runs on the numbers behind it, and this role is where those numbers get built right. As our Senior Accountant, you'll own the general ledger, monthly close, and balance sheet reconciliations that keep our books accurate and audit-ready for a company serving close to a third of the Fortune 100. You'll dig into the details, catch what's off before it becomes a problem, and use AI and automation to take the manual grind off your plate so you can spend more time on the work that actually needs a sharp eye. This is a role for someone who wants ownership over their piece of the books, not a checklist to clear.
Responsibilities
- Own general ledger (GL) accounting end to end: prepare and post journal entries, maintain the chart of accounts, and keep the ledger clean and accurate (35% of role)
- Complete monthly reconciliations across all balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies before they compound (30%)
- Run monthly variance analysis, comparing actuals to expectations and flagging what needs attention (10%)
- Look for ways to improve accounting processes and procedures, including using AI and automation tools to boost accuracy and speed up issue resolution (10%)
- Lead the year-end financial audit process: coordinate with external auditors and internal teams to provide the documentation and explanations they need (5%)
- Keep accounting practices compliant with GAAP, company policy, and relevant laws and regulations (5%)
- Support tax compliance activities as needed (5%)
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP
Nice to have:
- CPA
- Big 4 accounting experience
- NetSuite experience
- SaaS industry experience
At Perceptyx, we value your time and want our interviewers to be fully engaged in the conversation.
- Note-Taking: We use Metaview.ai to record and summarize our interviews. This allows our hiring team to focus on you rather than typing notes, ensuring a fairer and more accurate evaluation of your experience.
- AI Disclosure: While we use AI to assist in summarizing interview data, all final hiring decisions are made by Perceptyx employees. We do not use automated tools as the sole basis for selecting or rejecting candidates.
- Your Choice (Opt-Out): Participation in recorded interviews is voluntary. If you prefer not to have your interview recorded via Metaview, please notify your recruiter prior to the start of the session. Opting out will not negatively impact your candidacy.
Salary Range:
- US: $90,000-$105,000 per year.
- Note: Final compensation is determined by factors including experience, geography, and skills.
- Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance; [401k/RRSP] matching; generous PTO and paid holidays; parental leave; and professional development budget.
Perceptyx is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We welcome all qualified applicants regardless of background and are committed to an inclusive, accessible hiring process.
