About this Role

We’re looking for a sharp, reliable Senior Accountant to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations as we scale. This person will manage Accounts Payable end-to-end, support month-end close, maintain accurate financial records, and partner with internal teams to keep everything running smoothly.

This is a great role for someone with a few years of bookkeeping or accounting experience who is ready to step up, take on more responsibility, and help build the backbone of a fast-moving startup’s finance function.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the full Accounts Payable & Receivables process, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payments

  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online and Ramp

  • Support month-end close with journal entries, reconciliations, and variance checks

  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements as needed

  • Track vendor activity and coordinate with the team on purchasing and spend

  • Work with team on proper departmental and project coding for all expenses

  • Help prepare regular financial summaries and reports for leadership, including monthly corporate model update

  • Maintain and document accounting processes and internal controls

  • Support annual tax filings, audit preparation, and work with external accountants

  • Take on additional accounting or operational tasks as needed


Ideal Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

  • Strong understanding of AP processes, reconciliations, and journal entries

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Ramp, or similar systems

  • High accuracy, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving processes

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
