About the role

The Senior Accountant is a key member of the accounting team and reports directly to the Accounting Manager. This role is responsible for supporting the month-end close process, preparing financial statements and schedules, and ensuring accurate general ledger accounting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. In this role you will collaborate closely with international accounting teams and support various cross-functional initiatives, including ERP implementation and audit preparation.

The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, hands-on experience with ERP systems, and a background in technology, semiconductor, or other high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and related schedules throughout the monthly close
  • Book recurring and non-recurring entries including prepaid asset amortization, fixed asset depreciation, Delaware franchise fees, and property tax accrual
  • Perform account reconciliations on bank accounts, employee stock clearing accounts, prepaid assets, fixed assets
  • Upload trial balances of non-integrated international entities into the company’s ERP and ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Support Accounts Payable function where applicable, i.e. review payment runs, etc.
  • Support the Oracle Fusion implementation related tasks
  • Support the quarterly 10Q filing process and the annual year end audit preparation
  • Performing other accounting duties as assigned
  • Creating and analyzing financial reports
  • Performing ad hoc research and analysis

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ work experience in public or corporate accounting
  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP
  • Proficiency in intercompany transactions
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Oracle Fusion)
  • Clear understanding of SOX requirements
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, comfortable working with external audit
  • Strong understanding of financial transaction flows
  • Ability and willingness to meet business-critical deadlines
  • High attention to detail and ability to interact with senior management and functional department managers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Semiconductor experience is a plus
  • Previous experience involving ERP implementation (e.g. Oracle Fusion) is a plus
  • CPA is preferred 

The base salary range is $150,000.00–180,000.00 depending on years of experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and equity.
