Job Description:

The Job/What You'll Do:

We are seeking a highly self-sufficient and results-driven professional to fill the role of Senior Manager, Advisor Programs.

Strategize and partner to develop, market, monitor, and measure the success of AssetMark’s Advisor Programs, which includes management, reporting, and execution of the program strategy. The Senior Manager will coordinate marketing, operations, reporting, practice management support, and technology to create a cohesive and impactful program. This role requires a strategic leader with the ability to integrate various internal functions and drive continuous improvement.

This is a full-time position in our Concord, CA office with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the internal program manager responsible for coordinating marketing, sales, and support services to resolve complex problems and develop go-to-market strategies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and contacts to maximize the efficacy of the programs
  • Design and implement program reporting and monthly communication procedures, maintaining clear and showcasing successes and opportunities through clear KPIs and quarterly reporting
  • Review, analyze, interpret, and maintain strong industry knowledge of advisor trends and training needs
  • Monitor and evaluate operational efficiencies, identifying areas for improvement, recommending and implementing necessary changes
  • Manage and grow the assigned programs, ensuring alignment with company objectives and maximizing benefits
  • Manage relationships with vendors and partners to support Advisor Programs initiatives and efforts
  • Serve as a liaison between the Program and Business Consulting team on content and collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and promotion
  • Lead marketing, communication, and promotion of the Programs internally and externally
  • Own content creation, working with the Director of Business Consulting, Director of Advisor Marketing, and the Business Consultant, delivering the programs to advisors, managing requirements for the program from beginning to end
  • Proactively identify opportunities for program enhancement and implement best practices
  • Consult with Advisors as needed to move the programs forward.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of simultaneously monitoring and completing various projects
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to lead the integration of complex programs and utilizing best practices in management to ensure shared success
  • Outstanding strategic thinking skills with a focus on results and impact
  • Superior oral and written communication skills; strong sense of emotional intelligence with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization to create buy-in and a sense of teamwork
  • Self-motivated and self-directed with strong communication skills
  • Efficient with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to define clear objectives for challenges, collect appropriate information, and develop action plans resulting in workable solutions
  • Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Must be able to deal with abstract and concrete variables
  • Excellent analytical abilities with good business judgment are essential
  • Flexibility and the ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Slack, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Copywriting skills and general understanding of graphic design preferred
  • Must be able to work hybrid (in office Tue/Wed/Thur) and attend up to 10 events per year.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $105,000-$120,000.

 

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
