Position Overview
The Senior Solution Marketing Manager – AEC Cable Solutions will lead global business development for products related to high-speed AECs, specifically targeting interconnect solutions in AI data center architectures. This role requires a blend of technical depth, strategic customer engagement, and commercial execution to accelerate design wins and scale deployments with hyperscale customers. 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Development

  • Drive AEC cable design wins and revenue growth with hyperscaler accounts and their ODM/OEM partners. 
  • Build and maintain executive and engineering relationships within customer organizations. 
  • Map account decision-making structures and customize go-to-market strategies.

Technical & Solution Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor on the roadmap for high-speed interconnect solutions for AI and HPC clusters. 
  • Understand and articulate technical details of AEC cables, including signal integrity, power efficiency, latency, and thermal considerations. 
  • Collaborate closely with Astera Labs engineering to align product capabilities with customer requirements.

Market Development & Positioning

  • Identify AI infrastructure trends, bandwidth scaling roadmaps, and interconnect challenges faced by customers 
  • Position Astera Labs’ silicon and AEC products as the preferred solution for large-scale AI/ML training and inference workloads.

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Lead technical and commercial proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and joint evaluation programs. 
  • Coordinate with product management, marketing, and ecosystem partners to deliver compelling value propositions. 
  • Represent Astera Labs at technology summits, AI infrastructure conferences, and industry standards forums.

Pipeline & Revenue Ownership

  • Own the business development pipeline for products supporting copper cabling in the AI segment. 
  • Drive forecast accuracy, close rates, and revenue growth according to company targets. 
  • Provide regular updates on competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and market dynamics. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineeringor related field; advanced degree preferred. 
  • 10+ years in business development, technical sales, or strategic account management in high-speed interconnect, semiconductor, or data center infrastructure markets. 
  • Strong technical expertise in AEC interconnect solutions, including AEC design, signal integrity, PAM4/NRZ modulation, and interoperability with SerDes and switch/router ASICs. 
  • Deep understanding of data center architectures, particularly for AI/ML workloads. 
  • Proven track record of closing multi-million-dollar deals and managing complex sales cycles.
