We’re seeking a talented and experienced AI Backend Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. Reporting to the Group Manager, Director, Software Engineering, you’ll play a critical role in driving innovation within the AI space by leveraging cutting-edge backend technologies. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful initiatives and build scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and drive innovative projects within the AI domain, leveraging fabric capabilities to enhance and accelerate our products offerings.
- Develop our agentic fabric framework and Implement the agentic fabric framework across the platform.
- Identify opportunities to address complex technical challenges and improve existing systems.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of projects, from proof-of-concept (POC) to full-scale production deployment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance our technology stack and processes.
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and/or Java.
- A B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience building AI agent systems, including designing new agents and developing agent frameworks.
- Expertise in microservices architectures, with hands-on experience using AWS and Kubernetes.
- A proven ability to work independently in fast-paced, dynamic environments and tackle complex technical challenges with creative, effective solutions.
- M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading machine learning and data science projects.
