Role

Covariance is hiring a Senior Strategist, Audience & Consumer Insights to find the stories in our data that move our sales, customers, and market forward. You'll use our AI-powered competitive & audience intelligence platform to build the audiences, personas, and analyses behind our pitches, customer business reviews, and the content we publish.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-sale analyses: build the analyses behind our pitches, showing prospects who their customers are, where else they shop, and which audiences they can grow.
  • Audiences and personas: turn our data into audiences and personas a marketer can act on, with clear recommendations for reaching them across channels.
  • Inspire increased usage: bring fresh analyses to every business review and show customers new ways to put our data to work.
  • Market content: find what our data says about industry news, earnings, and consumer trends, and turn it into articles, reports, and posts in partnership with Product Marketing.
  • Platform expert: know our data and platform better than anyone, train the team, and share what you learn with Product.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 4+ years analyzing audiences and consumers at a media agency, publisher, ad platform, or consumer data company.
  • Media: you've built audiences and personas for media plans and know how they're activated across ad platforms.
  • Data skills: you're hands-on and run your own analyses in SQL, Excel, and BI tools like Tableau.
  • Data storytelling: you find what's interesting in the data and turn it into writing, charts, and slides that land with a CMO.
  • Industry: experience with retailers, restaurants, or other consumer brands with physical stores is a plus.
  • AI tools: you use AI every day to analyze, draft, and visualize, so you can say yes to more requests.
