Our Story

TopDog Law is a nationally scaling personal injury firm that owns the client experience end to end, from marketing and intake through litigation. We've grown 2-3x year over year for three years running, and we're now building the operations, systems, and teams to scale without sacrificing quality or culture. We're fully remote, and we value ownership, open communication, and speed. If you want to help build something exceptional, you'll feel at home here.

The Opportunity

Top Dog Law is one of the fastest-growing personal injury law firms in the country. Our decision science team turns data into decisions that move the business, not reports that sit in a folder. We're seeking a Senior Analyst to partner with our Client Marketing team and help us better understand, communicate with, and retain our clients.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level data analyst who is as comfortable writing complex SQL as they are explaining what the numbers mean to a marketing stakeholder. You will own the measurement behind how clients engage with Top Dog Law and use it to recommend what to change, what to scale, and what to stop.

What You Will Own

Client Marketing Analytics

  • Track and interpret client performance to understand adoption, engagement, and opportunities to improve the client experience
  • Report on and analyze metrics that drive client retention and engagement across the case lifecycle, including early indicators of disengagement and risk
  • Evaluate email and SMS performance to sharpen how, when, and what we communicate to clients
  • Measure and refine review generation strategies to grow the volume and quality of client reviews
  • Design and evaluate tests, and translate findings into clear recommendations for Client Marketing

Reporting & Decision Support

  • Write and maintain SQL that powers client marketing reporting and analysis
  • Build and maintain dashboards that surface actionable insights for Client Marketing
  • Prepare regular performance updates covering goals, results, and forward-looking recommendations
  • Gather and monitor NPS data
  • Use AI tools, including Claude, to build workflows and accelerate analysis
  • Partner with data engineering and the broader decision science team to improve data quality and trust in the numbers

What You Bring

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in an analytics or data analyst role, with a track record of influencing business decisions
  • Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex joins, CTEs, and window functions
  • Experience with web, email, SMS analytics and NPS
  • Experience analyzing CRM data (Salesforce)
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude to accelerate analysis and improve your work
  • Strong fundamentals in experimentation and statistics, including A/B testing and segmentation
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to turn complex analysis into a clear story for non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven problem-solver who proactively identifies issues, diagnoses root causes, and acts without waiting to be directed

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with Braze or a comparable customer engagement platform
  • Experience in client retention, customer lifecycle, or customer experience analytics
  • Experience with review generation or online reputation management
  • Experience in legal, insurance, or other service-based industries
  • Familiarity with modern BI and dashboarding tools

Who Thrives Here (Core Values)

We don't hire on resumes alone. We hire for competence, character, and mindset.

  • Embrace Change: Open to feedback, embracing change, and always asking "what's next?"
  • Committed: You care deeply, have your teammates' backs, and show up to build something lasting.
  • No-Ego Energy: Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented. Drama stays at the door.
  • Ownership: You do what you say, follow through, and treat the business like it's yours.
  • Fast & Hungry: You move with urgency, thrive under high expectations, and are motivated by growth and impact.

What We Offer

  • Base Salary: $105,000 - $129,000, commensurate with experience
  • Our job postings reflect the compensation range for the specific market and location of each role. Ranges vary by geography based on local market rates and cost of labor.
  • Benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, HSA, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, and parental leave.
