The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Planning will be responsible for the inventory management and optimization of the Same Unit Repair (SUR) program. This program includes 180+ Remote Tech Service Providers, 700+ UBIF Store Locations, 150+ AT&T Stores, and 3 key distribution facilities. The position will be responsible for setting the appropriate inventory stocking levels across various parts & tools, clients, distribution channels, and locations to ensure that key metrics are maximized while minimizing Excess & Obsolescence exposure.

The position will be responsible for executing stocking strategies that accomplish program specific goals for various clients, distribution channels, and locations. The role will oversee key metrics such as Service Levels, Parts availability, Days on Hand (DOH), and In-Stock % while minimizing Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) exposure. 

The Senior analyst will directly interact with internal parties and cross-functional teams to review inventory levels, manage changes to the stocking strategy, execute life cycle strategies, and communicate/forecast inventory needs. The position will also assist in the effort to move aspects of the Forward Distribution Planning Process into new or existing Supply Chain Planning Solutions to allow for optimized inventory distribution and returns.

This individual must have a successful track record of driving improvements across the supply chain and executing upon client initiatives.

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute daily review, and action planning for key KPI’s across the supply chain. 
  • Execute the deployment of inventory to support assigned programs and clients; identify and communicate gaps to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained, and drive recommendations for adjustment, to avoid stock out situation or stocking excess inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels and expected deliveries and take necessary actions in a timely manner to ensure parts offer rate is maximized and E&O is minimized. 
  • Resolve or escalate barriers preventing replenishment processes from moving inventory across the Asurion network in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Deliver analysis and data on supply chain performance.
  • Analyze and interpret data, capture trends and identify anomalies and errors in data; provide solutions for discrepancies and develop and enact plan for implementing solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement; implement and drive change. 
  • Operate in a highly matrixed environment having significant interaction with functional teams such as Procurement, Supplier Management, Client Services, Risk Management, Finance, and Operations  
  • Collaborate with operational groups within the supply chain through information sharing, thought leadership, and strategic planning.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, including deep knowledge of spreadsheets and databases  
  • Knowledge of Asurion operations highly preferred 
  • High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast growth environment 
  • Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving and comfort with ambiguity 
  • Able to assess a variety of information, draw similarities and compile actionable recommendations 
  • Strong interpersonal skills  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Supply Chain management, Global Procurement or Accounting 
  • Expert Excel Skill level, experience with SQL,  
  • BS Supply Chain Management or other technical/mathematical field
