Job Description SummaryAnalytics Consulting is an exciting discipline combining traditional consulting with analytics disciplines such as data science, statistics, simulation and predictive modelling. Engagements follow a problem back approach, leveraging interviews and data mining to align clients around high-value problem statements, then designing targeted solutions to improve performance. Project types include designing efficient healthcare facilities, re-configuring existing capacity for patient throughput and experience, improving health system utilization and implementing real-time analytics in command centers to dynamically optimize coordination of patient care.
As an Analytics Senior Consultant within the GEHC Command Center team, you will be a self-starter, possess strong analytical skills, a structured approach to problem solving and experience with process improvement and statistical analysis. You will work with clients and our multi-disciplinary consulting/engineering teams to deliver GEHC Command Center solutions

Job DescriptionResponsibilities
  • Client facing individual responsible for the delivery of consultancy services at a client site(s).

  • Lead the collection, validation and analysis of healthcare data to support engagement objectives.

  • Plans, leads and coordinates clinical command centre programs with large scope and scale, ensuring high quality delivery within area of responsibility and client satisfaction.

  • Develops and demonstrates specialized knowledge related to patient flow, quality, hospital operations and clinical practice in hospitals and non-hospital settings.

  • Serves as a resource for best practices and quality. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area.

  • Contributing to the planning and completion of high-quality engagement deliverables on time and on budget.

  • Lead the design and layout of analysis and in writing accurate reports to depict findings, contributing to the development of conclusions and recommendations.

  • Development of clear and insightful executive-level presentations.

  • Establishing credibility and develop relationships with mid-level client managers.

  • Serving as a professional representative of GE Healthcare in all public and client settings.

  • Participating in Knowledge Management activities as directed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial or electrical engineering, Math or Statistics or related discipline.

  • Deep analytical skills and experience in delivery of Healthcare Digital solution.

  • Hands-on experience in ETL technologies and automation methods on large-scale data warehousing architecture.

  • Experience with data integration and industry standard such as HL7, FHIR, API.

  • Experience with analytic techniques: regression analysis, simulation modelling, timeseries forecasting, hypothesis testing using Python, R, SAS or similar software.

  • Data management in SQL or Oracle, understanding of Data Mining principles and strategies.

  • Experience in healthcare consulting and knowledge of hospital operations.

  • Hands on experience with data visualization and dashboard development in Tableau, Qlik or similar.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs.

  • Ability to travel minimum 75%.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

Desired Skills
  • Formal problem solving, logic.
  • Experience in outcome-based process improvement and driving change using Change Management tools, LEAN or Six Sigma

  • Experience in UX/UI design.

  • Software: Sketch (iOS) or equivalent.
