Job Summary:

SmithRx is looking for a Senior Application Analyst to serve as the primary owner and technical expert for our suite of business applications integrated with Salesforce. While Salesforce remains a core hub of our operations, this role focuses on the broader ecosystem of tools such as Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Telephony among other tools that power our Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations and Customer Support teams.

A primary focus of this role is the hands-on configuration of workflows and automations directly within these 3rd-party applications. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management and optimization of these tools, ensuring they are not only seamlessly integrated with Salesforce but also internally automated to drive business efficiency. Additionally, you will participate in the vendor selection process, evaluating new technologies to ensure our tech stack remains cutting-edge, scalable and cost-effective.

What you will do:

  • Application & Workflow Configuration: Lead the administration and build of internal logic, triggers and automated workflows within:
    • CLM: Configuring automated contract routing and workflows (e.g., Ironclad, Linksquare).
    • Telephony & CTI: Managing IVR flows, call routing logic, and agent presence sync (e.g., Talkdesk, Five9).
    • Notification Platforms: Designing automated SMS/Email trigger logic.
    • Survey Tool: Help manage data flow from surveys to other applications.
  • Vendor Selection & Evaluation: Lead the technical evaluation and selection process for new software vendors. This includes defining business requirements, conducting RFPs, performing gap analyses and managing proof-of-concept (POC) phases.
  • Integration Management: Lead the full lifecycle of integrations between these tools and Salesforce, from initial mapping and setup to ongoing monitoring of data synchronization.
  • Cross-Functional Optimization: Partner with stakeholders in Sales, RevOps, Customer Support and other business teams to identify manual bottlenecks and implement automated solutions across the tech stack.
  • Service Cloud Support: Support the technical setup of the Service Cloud environment, ensuring that external communication tools are perfectly synced with Salesforce objects.
  • Data Governance & Troubleshooting: Maintain data integrity across integrated platforms and act as Tier 3 support for application-specific issues, reading and troubleshooting code/APIs to resolve failures.

What you will bring to SmithRx:

  • 8+ years in Business Systems/IT/Ops with 5+ years specifically in application analysis, workflow automation, and systems integration
  • Expertise in managing 3rd-party tool support directly and negotiating technical specifications with external engineers
  • Proven ability to build complex, multi-step automations natively within SaaS platforms to drive team efficiency.
  • Advanced skills in mapping data schemas and managing high-integrity, real-time synchronization between systems.
  • Hands-on experience using out of the box integration and middleware tools to connect a diverse tech stack to a Salesforce hub.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with business units to architect technical requirements from conceptual pain points.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and creative approach to developing innovative and effective solutions to improve system performance
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong data management abilities, skilled at organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making.
