JOB DESCRIPTION

ASG is seeking a Senior Associate, Technical Recruiting to be the primary recruiting partner for our AI transformation initiatives. This is a high-impact role responsible for identifying, assessing, and hiring the technical talent that will help transform our portfolio into AI-native software platforms. You'll lead full-cycle recruiting across AI/ML, AI native software engineering, platform, infrastructure, and security roles while building the recruiting capabilities, partnerships, and talent pipelines that support ASG's long-term technology strategy.

You'll partner closely with ASG's Head of Talent, ASG's CTO, our Talent Intelligence function, and engineering leaders across the portfolio to design hiring strategies, identify and engage exceptional technical talent, and deliver hiring outcomes that accelerate product and engineering execution. This role reports directly to ASG's Head of Talent.

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting across AI/ML, AI native software engineering, platform, infrastructure, and security roles.
  • Build proactive pipelines for recurring technical roles and emerging skill sets critical to ASG's AI transformation.
  • Partner with ASG's CTO and engineering leaders to define hiring strategies, calibrate candidate profiles, and deliver exceptional hiring outcomes.
  • Assess technical talent with a high degree of rigor, distinguishing exceptional AI-native builders from candidates with surface-level experience.
  • Conduct technical talent research and intelligence, including market mapping, compensation benchmarking, and competitive hiring analysis.
  • Develop technical interview frameworks, scorecards, and recruiting playbooks that improve hiring quality and consistency.
  • Manage relationships with specialized technical recruiting partners and search firms when appropriate.
  • Partner directly with recruiters, portfolio leaders, and executives to align technical hiring strategies with ASG's long-term growth.

We’re Excited About You Because You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience recruiting technical talent in high-growth SaaS, technology, or VC/ PE-backed environments.
  • Proven success hiring software engineering, AI/ML, platform, infrastructure, or security talent at the IC and manager level.
  • Strong technical fluency and the ability to credibly assess engineering talent across modern technologies and AI-native skill sets.
  • Experience partnering with engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies, influence hiring decisions, and deliver exceptional candidate experiences.
  • Strong understanding of technical talent markets, sourcing strategies, compensation trends, and competitive hiring practices.
  • A track record of building proactive talent pipelines, scalable recruiting processes, and trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset — “I’ll figure it out.”

  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve research, drafting, and workflow efficiency, and staying current on new AI capabilities relevant to recruiting.

Base Salary Range: The target salary range for this position is $175,000–$205,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including an annual bonus, equity, employer-paid benefits, L&D stipend and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
