Requirements

What we're looking for

- 6 to 12 years of experience shipping production backend systems at a company operating at scale.

- Background in fintech or healthtech, such as payments, billing or claims.

- Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field; adjacent degrees from strong programs are considered, and bootcamp graduates need substantially more experience.

- Strong backend skills in Node.js or a comparable framework.

- Experience designing and delivering backend systems that handle sensitive data at scale, using PostgreSQL or a similar database.

- Uses AI tooling by default in day-to-day development and is comfortable in an AI-first engineering culture.

- Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.

- Able to deliver independently with little structure or support, and to make progress when requirements are unclear.

- Demonstrated interest in healthcare or fintech.
