You will combine hardware and software expertise to improve test coverage, automate testing and support new products as they move into production.
Responsibilities
  • Define manufacturing test solutions, methodologies and processes for board and system-level products.
  • Develop test strategies for new features, including specifying, designing and qualifying test fixtures, equipment and diagnostic software.
  • Develop and support automated test content using Python, and contribute to diagnostic generation, validation and test infrastructure.
  • Work with hardware, software, quality and manufacturing teams to improve CPU, system-on-chip, board and system-level test coverage.
  • Evaluate manufacturing test technologies and methods to improve coverage, quality, efficiency and production throughput.
  • Participate in early design reviews and provide design-for-test feedback to improve testability and manufacturability.
  • Debug hardware and software issues during product bring-up and manufacturing, and work with manufacturing partners to resolve production issues and support product ramp-up.
  • Analyse test and manufacturing data to identify recurring issues, improve yield and support continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in board, system, platform or manufacturing test, including developing or supporting manufacturing test programmes and working with board or system hardware.
  • Programming or scripting experience with Python and Bash, and the ability to debug hardware and software interactions in complex systems.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as PCIe, baseboard management controllers, IPMI, thermal management and system interfaces, and the ability to communicate and work across engineering, manufacturing, quality and operations teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience
  • Experience supporting new product introduction and the transition into high-volume manufacturing.
  • Experience with manufacturing test automation, diagnostic development or automated failure analysis.
  • Knowledge of design for test, design for manufacturing, yield improvement and manufacturing quality methods.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers or global manufacturing partners.
  • Experience analysing manufacturing and test data to identify trends and support corrective actions.

In Return
You will work with teams across hardware, software, manufacturing and operations on complex board and system-level challenges. Your work will contribute to scalable test solutions and help improve the quality, efficiency and production readiness of Arm-based computing products.
