This position will serve as a primary internal NetSuite subject matter expert and business systems partner, helping ensure the platform is effectively configured, supported, and continuously improved to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Working collaboratively across Finance, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and other business functions, this role will translate business needs into practical system solutions, troubleshoot issues, support process improvements, and help drive successful adoption of NetSuite across the organization. This individual will build trusted partnerships across departments, listen carefully to business needs, facilitate cross-functional solutions, and help employees navigate system and process changes in a practical, collaborative, and solutions-focused manner.

Description

  • Serve as a primary internal NetSuite Administrator and subject-matter expert, managing system configuration, roles, permissions, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, reporting, and ongoing system administration
  • Partner with leaders and users across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Customer Service, Fulfillment, Operations, and other functions to understand business requirements, identify pain points, and translate needs into practical and scalable NetSuite solutions
  • Support the successful NetSuite implementation, go-live, and stabilization, partnering with the ERP Program Director, business teams, implementation partners, and consultants on functional requirements, data conversion, validation, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, and post-go-live activities
  • Troubleshoot complex NetSuite functional, configuration, access, and process issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions that balance business needs, system capabilities, appropriate controls, and long-term maintainability
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve business processes, while managing system enhancements and minimizing unnecessary customization
  • Support and troubleshoot NetSuite integrations with Salesforce, eCommerce, PLM, banking, shipping, and other business applications, helping ensure accurate and reliable data flow across connected systems
  • Provide advanced NetSuite support for issues escalated by business users or the Tech Service Desk, coordinating with internal resources, consultants, and vendors and maintaining ownership through resolution
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, process guides, knowledge-base materials, and user training resources to improve adoption, strengthen internal NetSuite expertise, and reduce long-term dependency on external consultants
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships by communicating technical concepts in clear business language, facilitating productive discussions, supporting users with varying levels of technical experience, and helping teams successfully navigate system and process changes
  • Demonstrate strong ownership, judgment, accountability, and follow-through, with the ability to respectfully challenge processes or recommendations when appropriate, manage changing priorities, and handle sensitive financial and business information with discretion

Key Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of progressive business systems or ERP experience, including strong hands-on experience administering and supporting NetSuite in a complex business environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered. NetSuite certifications are preferred; however, strong practical NetSuite experience and demonstrated capability are considered more important
  • Demonstrated expertise in NetSuite administration and configuration, including roles and permissions, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, reporting, system controls, and ongoing enhancements
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional business processes, with experience supporting areas such as Finance, Sales, Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Customer Service, Fulfillment, Operations, and Reporting
