About the Role:

Hello Heart is growing and is looking for a Senior Business Data Analyst to join our Data Science and Analytics group and help drive business decisions across the company. In this role, you will uncover data insights and provide ad-hoc analytics support to our teams across the entire organization. 

This role will have many opportunities to learn and expand data skills by working with our growing data team of analysts, scientists, and engineers. The data team works cross-functionally with the Marketing, Finance, Product, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Customer Success teams.

Responsibility:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Product, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Customer Success) to understand business needs and deliver actionable analyses.
  • Proactively explore data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities that can drive business growth and operational improvements.
  • Define and manage data collection requirements across systems and functions to enable consistent reporting and insight generation.
  • Develop, optimize, and automate data pipelines using SQL and modern data engineering tools to deliver timely, accurate reporting at scale.
  • Build and maintain robust, interactive dashboards to enable self-service capabilities and reporting among our GTM and product teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and driving efficiencies across the data landscape
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling visualizations and presentations for diverse audiences, including executives and external partners.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A powerhouse data analyst. Data-driven, lives, breathes and dreams data and gets super excited to analyze complex data sets, come up with new insights and solutions that are applicable in business settings.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in utilizing GenAI for improving efficiency in their day to day tasks
  • Strong data skills - data hygiene, sanity checks, etc.
  • Highly independent with strong problem-solving abilities and a go-getter.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Highly organized, able to multitask and easily adapt to change.
  • A strong team player that can work with multiple functions within the company. 
  • Entrepreneurial, self-sufficient, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with advanced skills in SQL, reporting, data analysis, and/or visualization
  • 5+ years of experience with Python for data analytics / data science projects
  • 5+ years of experience working with BI/Analytics tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Professional experience supporting data needs across various departments, such as marketing, product, finance, etc.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with medical claims or PHI/PII data - Advantage
  • Experience working with data pipelines (e.g Apache Airflow, Databricks) - Advantage
  • Experience preparing data visualization for executive stakeholders - Advantage

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000.00 to $160,000.00. Salary ranges are determined by role and level. Compensation is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the annual salary only, and do not include equity or benefits.
