As a Senior Business System Analyst, SAP OTC, you will play a critical role in deploying capabilities to meet the company's near and long term goals. You will be accountable for the design, implementation, and support of solutions for strategic innovation and transformation initiatives, which will integrate and enhance Penumbra’s business functionality, overall performance, and maintain a high degree of user satisfaction.
 
What You’ll Work On
• Support, optimize and maintain SAP OTC systems, implement solutions for process effectiveness and efficiency. 
• Support the definition and design of financial systems and process controls. 
• Hands-on configuration and administration of SAP SD modules in at least 5 of the following functional areas: special stock orders, pricing condition loader optimization, condition contracts, BOP, BP security architecture and BP data loads, intercompany orders, RF scanning devices for order picking and packing. 
• Experience working with external third-party tax engine – Vertex preferred. 
• Creative thinker on how to best leverage customizations for solution design. 
• Experience designing and deploying integrations to two of the following solutions: CRM, freight management solution, and EDI, leveraging IDOCS and/or RFC. 
• Follow agreed-upon project methodology to define scope, develop, test, deploy solutions and transition to run. 
• Design and implementation of user stories. 
• Educate and mentor other IT and business users in process and application design. 
• Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional IT teams including middleware, developers, Operational Change Management and Software Validation Teams, establishing highly effective working relationships with key business partners through clean execution and open, honest, direct communication. 
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to further improve user experiences, enterprise integration, performance, and scalability. 
• Provide strong hands-on technical expertise; analyze business requirements; identify risks; and collaborate with other IT functional and technical disciplines. 
• Participate in the development of IT related policies, standards, and procedures.
 
What You Contribute
• A Bachelor's degree in related field with 8+ years of related experience with SAP SD module, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 2 full implementations of ERP Financials; strong experience with SAP S4 preferred. Knowledge of business processes and hands-on experience in configuration development within SAP EWM or WM modules.
• Experience supporting US business with European operations is a plus.
• Must be a motivated self-starter, able to identify and complete required work activities to meet business deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently throughout the business and technical teams; demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously
 
Working Conditions
General office environment. Business travel from 0% - 5%. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 15 pounds.  Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed.
 
Annual Base Salary Range:  $132,000 - $200,000 / year
We offer a competitive compensation package plus a benefits and equity program, when applicable.  
Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
