We are growing and looking to add to the dynamic Campaign Management team within Marketing’s Center of Excellence, supporting Enterprise Marketing.
The Senior Campaign Specialist will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns. This role is responsible for building email and SMS campaigns within our marketing automation tool, the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP).
Within ZMP, the Senior Campaign Specialist will implement end-to-end technical coding of email campaigns and email template development (this includes audience segmentation, enablement of dynamic content, quality assurance, editing, testing, and deployment). This person will work in an agile environment directly with internal teams to deliver campaigns and lists. You will need to understand requirements, develop audience segmentation criteria, script dynamic content, QA/QC audience segments, and ensure timely deployment of emails and SMS communications for the Bank.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Utilizing expert knowledge of email platform(s) including delivery system.
- Collaborating with team members across product marketing to scope, design, and implement technical solutions for dynamic email projects.
- Work with project stakeholders to identify requirements, solutioning development or level of effort.
- Building, testing, and implementing content for automated campaigns including advanced dynamic content.
- Performing code & creative reviews to optimize emails.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Citizens data sources and effectively interpret requests from the Product Marketing team.
- Implement standards and quality controls to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to all federal and state regulations, customer contact rules & customer preferences, including CAN-SPAM requirements.
- Document all the campaign processes and keep evidence of all approvals and exceptions.
Required skills/experience:
- Email development experience, preferably in a similar marketing automation tool.
- Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for email, including responsive & fluid code optimized for email.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce flawless work in rapid succession.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines using strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate campaign insights and business implications to non-technical business partners.
- Effective problem solving in individual and group settings.
- Collaborator at heart who is comfortable with self-direction and has flexibility to work on a variety of tasks.
- Familiarity with Jira or another workflow tool a plus.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- UI design experience a plus.
Education, certifications and/or other professional credentials:
- Undergraduate degree in relevant field
- 4 years of related full-time experience
Our preference would be to have a chosen candidate with onsite capabilities in Westwood, MA or one of our corporate headquarters.
Hours and Work Schedule:
- Hours per week: 40
- In-office days per week: 3 days, with a possibility of 4
- Work schedule: Monday – Friday
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $70,000-100,000 per year. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
