Job Description:

Microchip is looking for a dynamic Senior Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to help drive sales growth, within a select group of major Storage, Data Center, and Communications OEMs, located in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities include:

  • Utilize the Microchip Sales Processes to create new engagements and drive the sales funnel to grow  revenue at select target customers.
  • Provide technical and business insight at every level of the customer engagement.
  • The CEM owns and drives the company relationship with the assigned customer base.
  • The CEM must effectively work within a team environment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies
  • Communicate effectively with Microchip Product divisions
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, and aspire to provide the customer with the highest level of support
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of their customer’s products, the solutions we offer that create value to the customer, the overall market, competitive landscape and internal organization
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or commensurate years of experience supporting semiconductor sales, technical degree preferred
  • 9+ years of experience supporting datacenter or marketing experience preferred (networking, server and storage hardware or datacenter)
  • Prior experience managing and building partnerships at large accounts
  • Able to work proficiently in both autonomous and team environments
  • Systems proficiency – CRM, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint..
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $120,000-$220,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
