Job Description

Support commercial transformation across Nielsen, partnering cross-functionally to ideate, implement, and support global commercial programs, with a focus on discount strategies, incentive programs, and commercial policy execution. Own ad-hoc reporting and analysis with C-suite visibility, delivering critical insights on market dynamics, ROI, and commercial program impact analysis. Lead cross-functional alignment across Sales, Finance, Product, Operations, and Legal to ensure seamless design and execution of commercial programs. Proactively assess and refine Nielsen’s commercial strategy, serving as the central owner for strategic mitigation and resolution of high-priority program escalations.  

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and support the delivery of critical Audience Measurement commercial programs with global impact, driving the strategy execution of deliverables. 

  • Support development of discount and commitment strategies globally, implementing next generation commercial policies to drive positive customer engagement and behavior.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership across Sales, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to obtain actionable insights that can be used to optimize commercial program design, implementation, and enforcement.

  • Design measurement and reporting to track adherence to, and performance of, commercial programs to ensure financial goals are met.

  • Implement best in class project management practices to manage against tight deadlines, varying stakeholders, and high visibility deliverables. 

  • Act as an expert across commercial programs and Nielsen’s product suite, anticipating business challenges and opportunity areas.

  • Model and analyze commercial offerings and deal structures against GTM, product, and financial strategies, driving optimization of discount and incentive programs.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of work experience with relevant experience in commercial transformation, discount and incentive strategy execution, or relevant analyst positions.

  • Strong analytical and data storytelling skills, with deep experience in deciphering telemetry data to understand the root cause of commercial impact.

  • Proficiency in using data analytics software (Excel, Sheets, Tableau), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Configure Price Quote (CPQ), and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment requiring a flexible work schedule (end of quarter, peak sales activity support needs).

  • Excellent stakeholder management toolkit with ability to effectively influence cross-functionally to drive team performance.

  • Preferred Skills: Prior experience and knowledge of Media pricing strategies, Media discounting practices, BI power tools, Agentic AI, and revenue orchestration optimization techniques.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
