Your role at Clorox:

The Clorox Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role you will have the opportunity of develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies, manage social media content and craft compelling messages to effective communicate internally and externally

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as community manager of digital employee experience platform, ensuring the execution of omnichannel communications and providing strategic counsel to internal team members.
  • Nurture the platform and its capabilities for ongoing growth and impact.
  • Guide the evolution of the platform, identifying, evaluating and sharing emerging training as needed.
  •  Build communications plans and goals; manage metrics against them.
  • Source and share best practices for efficient community management and platform efficiency.
  • Lead day-to-day content for social media channels and corporate blog.
  • Supervise postings and flagging issues, providing appropriate responses as needed.
  • Manage corporate website, including content updates and regular maintenance
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends to advise content development.
  • Run overall editorial calendar on a week-to-week basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members on content development.
  • Collect and present monthly metrics to inform future content decisions.

What we look for:

  • 5 years of experience managing internal and external communication channels
  • Managing digital employee experience platform, content development and analytics.
  • Experience with AP Style.
  • Editorial and production experience in digital media.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with various company stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal, to be effective in creating compelling content.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, responsive and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines.
  • Proactive and highly motivated, demonstrating the ability and desire to work independently and confidently, but also as part of a team.
  • Committed to continuous learning and improvement of digital channels.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900
Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100
Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
