Gong’s Adoption Services organization is evolving rapidly as we scale our post-activation customer experience globally. As Gong continues its growth journey, customers are increasingly looking for strategic partners who can help them operationalise AI-powered revenue workflows, embed Gong deeply across their go-to-market teams, and drive measurable business outcomes over the long term.

Adoption Services is Gong’s post-activation services organization, combining strategic advisory, platform optimization, operational excellence, and continuous enablement to accelerate customer adoption and revenue impact. Through multi-year partnerships, the team helps customers maximize the value of Gong by embedding the platform into daily workflows, strengthening revenue processes, operationalizing AI capabilities, and driving sustainable behavioral change across revenue teams.

Within Adoption Services, the Senior Consultant plays a critical role as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to customers. You will lead ongoing discovery, optimization, governance, and transformation work streams — helping customers continuously evolve their revenue operations while ensuring Gong remains embedded in how teams forecast, coach, prospect, engage, and execute.

This role must be based in one of the following areas: San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Austin, Chicago, or NYC.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead discovery workshops to uncover business requirements, revenue process gaps, workflow opportunities, and adoption challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, bringing revenue domain expertise, operational best practices, and AI workflow knowledge to every interaction.
  • Translate forecasting, pipeline management, coaching, and sales engagement practices into scalable platform strategies aligned to customer workflows.
  • Develop polished, enterprise-grade deliverables including strategic roadmaps, process maps, governance frameworks, and executive presentations.
  • Partner with customers to define business outcomes, map those outcomes to effective revenue workflows, and align Gong capabilities to maximise adoption and impact.
  • Help customers operationalise AI-powered workflows across forecasting, coaching, prospecting, and revenue execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Engagement Managers, Technical Architects, Product, Support, and Customer Success to deliver aligned customer outcomes.
  • Consult on change management, governance, and adoption strategies to support long-term scalability and sustainability.
  • Manage engagements to scope and timeline, proactively identifying and escalating risks where required.
  • Contribute to practice development by refining methodologies, frameworks, and consultative playbooks that support scalable growth across Adoption Services.
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • 6+ years of experience within a go-to-market organisation or consulting environment, with experience in forecasting, pipeline management, sales engagement, revenue operations, or revenue transformation.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills with experience working across technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where methodologies, product capabilities, and operating models continue to evolve.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and execution quality.
  • Strong understanding of core revenue workflows including forecasting, prospecting, pipeline management, coaching, and sales execution.
  • Experience producing polished, enterprise-grade deliverables including presentations, process documentation, and strategic roadmaps.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Bonus: Experience with Gong, Clari, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or other revenue intelligence and sales engagement platforms.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $115,000-$175,000 USD. 

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
