At Hightouch, our mission is to help our customers leverage data and AI to grow their businesses. The team is ambitious, impact-driven, efficient — and we believe humility, kindness, and compassion are essential to our success. If you're energized by velocity, obsessed with raising the bar, and want to build alongside people who care deeply about each other and our customers, we'd love to meet you.

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Copywriter who is, above all else, genuinely phenomenal with words: clever, precise, and able to write copy that makes people stop in their tracks. For us, that starts long before the words hit the page. What you’ll bring to the table is not only great writing, but also great thinking: You can see what's underneath an ask, push concepts somewhere new, and bring a creative point of view.

You’ll play a central role in defining how Hightouch sounds in the world, from billboard headlines to web copy, to being the voice behind campaigns, launches, and activations that make marketers stop scrolling. You'll partner with design and video as a creative equal, knowing how to flex across formats while keeping things unmistakably Hightouch, and care for our voice as a system, not just a vibe (although vibes are good, too).

What You'll Do

  • Write and edit copy with expert craft across channels, like brand campaigns, OOH, ads, videos, landing pages, social, email, and events.
  • Go beyond briefs to understand the ask deeply, bring fresh angles, and push the work past what was originally requested.
  • Partner with design and video, knowing when a line unlocks a visual and when the visual is doing the work and copy should step aside.
  • Maintain Hightouch's brand voice as a system, including building consistency, noticing where we sound flat, and proposing something better.
  • Represent your work internally with strong executive presence, while bringing flexibility and collaboration to the table
  • Work with marketing teams across disciplines, serving as a trusted editor and supporting launches, understanding our products, and optimizing our campaigns.
  • Use AI to scale volume and iteration, help others keep their writing on point, and ensure it doesn't flatten our voice or lower our standards.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7 years of copywriting experience at an agency or in-house; ideally you bring tech experience, the ability to understand complex topics, and excitement to work at a growing startup.
  • Genuinely exceptional with words, with a high bar for craft and strategy. You bring strong instincts for tone and voice, and a portfolio that proves it.
  • The ability to think conceptually. You know how to understand the lay of the land internally, what’s happening externally, and connect the dots in breakthrough ways.
  • Comfort across a range of formats and channels, and the fluency to know what changes (and what stays fixed) when you move between them
  • Strong instincts for how copy and visual work together. You know how a well-chosen word can change what an image means.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a collaborative, low-ego working style. You take and give feedback well, build on others' ideas, and don't get precious about your work.
Why Hightouch
  • High-impact role where your copy will be out in the world, in places like OOH campaigns, conference activations, the website, digital ads, and more.
  • Real scope to shape what Hightouch sounds like. We're building brand presence at scale, and this person will have genuine influence over that.
  • Fast-paced startup environment where good ideas move quickly from concept to execution and back again.
  • A team that cares deeply about craft and gives you real, specific feedback to get sharper.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000 USD per year, which is location independent in accordance with our remote-first policy. We also offer meaningful equity compensation in the form of ISO options, and offer early exercise and a 10-year post-termination exercise window.

E-Verify Statement

Hightouch participates in E-Verify. After you join the team, we'll verify your eligibility to work in the U.S. by submitting information from your Form I-9 to the Social Security Administration and, if needed, the Department of Homeland Security. This process happens post-hire only — we never use E-Verify to pre-screen applicants.
