Senior Corporate Communications Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Expertly executes on Corporate Communications strategy.
• Expertly delivers on writing and editorial production efforts.
• Experienced writer and storyteller; understands regional nuances.
• Expertly executes communication plans and strategy that align with and activate on the UL brand strategy to build and protect UL's market presence and reputation.
• Supports measurement and reporting.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in communication, marketing or a related field.
• 5-7 years of related experience or demonstrated competency.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated project planning and management skills.
• Basic business acumen.
• Ability to apply strategic frameworks.
• Budget tracking.
• Knowledge of analytical fundamentals.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment.
• Able to understand technical and scientific issues and to translate complex information for nonscientific audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using a wide array of marketing technology and communication tools.

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 USD and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary.
This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday and personal days (totaling 12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
