Supports cloud foundation services for the U.S. Judiciary by integrating cloud service provider ecosystems, monitoring security events, responding to incidents, conducting threat analysis, identifying vulnerabilities, recommending corrective actions, and managing SIEM systems. The role is remote within the United States with occasional travel to Washington, DC, and requires the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
SAIC is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC/AO) Cloud Technology Broker Integration Partner (CTBIP) contract. This position will provide services to build cloud foundations for the Judiciary, including cloud advisory/strategy and implementation services.
This role is remote and can be performed anywhere in the United States.
There may be occasional travel to customer site in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and integrate with Cloud Service Provider (CSP) ecosystems, including tools like Splunk and Tenable.
- Monitor security events and respond promptly to incidents to mitigate risks.
- Conduct threat analysis to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain and manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to ensure robust cybersecurity measures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience conducting threat analysis.
- Experience managing SIEM systems.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certifications in cloud, cloud security, and/or cybersecurity.
