We are looking for a Senior Financial Data Analyst to play a critical role in financial reporting, forecasting, automation, and strategic decision-making.

This role will focus on financial analytics, revenue recognition, data automation, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with finance, accounting, FP&A, and business teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, streamline reporting processes, and drive automation initiatives.

Our data stack comprises Redshift, dbt, Looker, and Jupyter Notebooks. We prefer a candidate with hands-on experience on our data stack, and/or with Sage Intacct or a similar accounting software. Also helpful to have Chargebee, Stripe or similar billing software experience. If you have a passion for transforming financial data into actionable insights and driving efficiency through automation, we’d love to hear from you.

This is an on-site position that requires 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.

You will
  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and Data teams to provide insights, dashboards, and automated reports that enhance financial decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, operational dashboards, and reporting tools to track key business metrics.
  • Ensure data integrity between financial systems (Sage Intacct, ERP, CRM, Salesforce, and other business applications).
  • Optimize month-end close processes and reconciliations through automation and data validation.
  • Drive forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and financial modeling.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support leadership in financial and operational decision-making.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across finance, operations, and business units to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to increase the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
You are
  • Finance-savvy & detail-oriented. You understand financial reporting, forecasting, and accounting principles.
  • Data-driven problem solver. You analyze complex datasets to provide actionable business recommendations.
  • Meticulous with data integrity. You ensure accuracy in financial reports, reconciliations, and automation processes.
  • Self-starter. You take initiative, identify problems, and drive solutions independently.
  • Effective communicator. You translate financial data into meaningful insights for finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Technical Craftsperson: You write clean, efficient code and build scalable analytical solutions. You're comfortable working across the full data stack, from raw data extraction to executive-ready visualizations.
You have
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, finance, accounting, or FP&A.

  • Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing financial data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Understanding of revenue recognition, accounting workflows, and reporting.
  • Experience with cloud data environments and data pipeline tools (dbt) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • 🚀 Big Plus: If you have experience implementing an automated revenue recognition system that integrates Salesforce, a revenue recognition software, and Sage Intacct, your expertise will be highly valued!.
Bonus points
  • Experience in fast-growing or high-growth companies.
  • Experience automating financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, and finance software integrations.
You'll get
  • High-impact role with visibility across finance, accounting, and leadership teams.
  • Autonomy & ownership over financial data projects that influence strategic decisions.
  • Opportunities for professional growth in analytics, finance, and automation.
  • A collaborative and inclusive culture where your insights drive real business value.
