About the Role

You'll build the data foundation that fuels our growth engine. Sitting at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and experimentation, you'll ensure every growth initiative is backed by clean, reliable, actionable data.

What You'll Do:
  • Build infrastructure: Design pipelines (SQL, dbt, BigQuery) that unify marketing, product, and operational data. Own data quality and event tracking validation.

  • Power experimentation: Partner with Product to design and analyze A/B tests across acquisition and activation funnels. Implement Mixpanel instrumentation for new experiments.

  • Drive insights: Own funnel reporting, attribution models, and campaign analysis. Build Looker dashboards that surface where the team should focus next.

  • Enable AI-driven growth: Support integration of LLM-enriched data models, embeddings, and similarity signals for smarter targeting and segmentation.

Who You Are:
  • 4+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Growth Data roles (startup/marketplace experience a plus)

  • Strong SQL, dbt, and Python skills

  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Looker, and Mixpanel (or Amplitude/Tableau)

  • Deep understanding of funnel metrics, growth experimentation, and marketing attribution

  • Ability to translate cross-functional questions into data deliverables

Bonus points: AI/ML data workflows, A/B testing tools (Optimizely, LaunchDarkly), Airflow, PLG or marketplace analytics, paid channel attribution

What We Offer:
  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance.

  • 401k match with immediate vesting.

  • Generous Paid time off, holidays, and parental leave.

  • A diverse, collaborative, and positive culture where we invest in and celebrate each other’s success.

Flexible work environment where we work hard but have fun (happy hours, team projects, and retreats).

NewtonX is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We do not discriminate based upon race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or any other applicable legally protected characteristics.
