About the Team 

Intel's Foundry Sales Operations team delivers comprehensive support across the entire customer journey, from initial sales enablement through complete lifecycle management. We're committed to providing foundry services through world-class operations that earn customer trust and drive business success. 

Position Overview  

Join Intel's Foundry Sales Operations team as a Senior Demand Planner to serve as a key connector between sales forecasts, supply availability, and capacity. This role will be instrumental in driving our Sales and Operations Planning (SnOP) and Long-Range Planning process, ensuring that demand signals are accurately translated into supply chain readiness and capacity.   

Working collaboratively across functions, you'll spearhead initiatives that identify demand risks, optimize supply readiness, and unlock revenue opportunities. This position offers the chance to create measurable impact on Intel's success by ensuring demand signals translate effectively into supply chain preparedness, while helping scale our organization and reinforcing Intel's position as the trusted foundry services leader. 

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical expertise with business acumen to deliver insights that enable the organization to scale effectively and will be the interface for all things packaging products for Foundry Services customers. Through designing and executing analytics, you’ll provide analytical support to the sales operation process; this includes, but not limited to: 

  • Drive set-up for new products to enable forecasting in Compass and BY CDP through downstream systems. Partner with Business Groups to gather product attributes needed for product set-up
  • Lead demand cycle requirements and manage production demand using BY CDP tool, and Engineering demand using the SAP IBP tool 
  • Collaborate with Business Development team and to align on demand forecast for Long Range Planning Funded, Execute, and Growth scenarios. Understand exceptions and strategic propositions 
  • Collaborate with Customer Engineering and Business Development on milestones for new products, Eng’g/NPI build timeframes, HVM ramps, and execution
  • Maintain product roadmap for monthly S&OP and report demand cycle over cycle changes 
  • Identify demand risks, opportunities, and trends to support proactive decision making
  • Partner with supply chain integration and procurement teams to ensure material, service, and vendor readiness aligns with projected demand
  • Partner with Customer Business Analyst within Foundry Sales Operations in getting latest customer rolling forecast, and bailed materials visibility
  • Monitor inventory positions, lead times to mitigate shortages, or excess 
  • Track accuracy, bias, and lags in forecasts using BY CDP dashboards and KPIs
  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to align capacity planning with demand forecasts, determine capacity allocation, and customer inventory to maximize revenue through supply commitments 

Qualifications:

The Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or in a related field of study 
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industries 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, or capacity planning 
  • Expertise in Sales and Operations Planning processes and supply chain planning platforms (e.g. Blue Yonder, OneMPS/COMPASS, etc.) 
  • Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • MBA or an advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or in a related field of study 
  • Experience with Foundry 
  • Experience in semiconductor assembly and packaging operations, FPGA, and industry best practices 
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor assembly & packaging operations, FPGA, and industry best practices 
  • Experience with advanced Excel (i.e. as pivot tables and complex formulas etc.) 
  • Experience with statistical analysis and forecasting techniques

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $116,790.00-237,710.00 USD

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Work Model for this Role
