The summary above was generated by AI

Uniphore is one of the largest B2B AI-native companies—decades-proven, built-for-scale and designed for the enterprise. The company drives business outcomes, across multiple industry verticals, and enables the largest global deployments.

Uniphore infuses AI into every part of the enterprise that impacts the customer. We deliver the only multimodal architecture centered on customers that combines Generative AI, Knowledge AI, Emotion AI, workflow automation and a co-pilot to guide you. We understand better than anyone how to capture voice, video and text and how to analyze all types of data.

As AI becomes more powerful, every part of the enterprise that impacts the customer will be disrupted. We believe the future will run on the connective tissue between people, machines and data: all in the service of creating the most human processes and experiences for customers and employees.

Job Description:

Business AI is no longer a category. It is the defining battleground of enterprise technology. And Uniphore is not watching from the sidelines. We are in the fight, with the technology, the traction and the conviction to win. What we need now is a voice that matches the ambition.

This is a rare kind of role. Not a communications manager. Not a content factory. A strategic advisor and master storyteller who will work hand-in-hand with our CEO to shape how the world sees Uniphore, and how the market understands what Business AI can actually do. You will be the person who helps our CEO and the company cut through the noise with ideas that are provocative, perspectives that are differentiated and narratives that make people stop and think differently about AI in the enterprise.

We are at an inflection point. The conversations happening in boardrooms, at industry summits and across the business press are being shaped right now, and the leaders who own the narrative will own the category. If you have spent your career thinking about why a message matters, not just how to write it, and if you know how to turn a CEO's instincts into ideas that move markets, then this is the role you have been building toward.

This position is based in Palo Alto, CA and it's in office 5 days per week.

What You Will Own

1. Narrative Strategy & Thought Leadership

You will own the strategic narrative for the company’s CEO, not as a ghostwriter executing requests, but as a true thought partner helping him develop and own a distinctive, provocative point of view on where AI and enterprise technology are heading. You will set the thought leadership agenda, identify the white space in the market conversation and build the frameworks that make Uniphore's voice unmistakable.

  • Define and steward the CEO's overarching communications strategy, including the narrative architecture, the platform priorities and the thought leadership agenda, and ensuring every communication reinforces Uniphore's market positioning and business priorities.

  • Develop bold, differentiated POVs that position the CEO as a category-defining voice in Business AI; not just a commentator on trends, but a shaper of them.

  • Act as a senior communications advisor to the CEO and cross-functional leadership, shaping messaging strategy for high-stakes moments: product launches, industry inflection points and company milestones.

  • Contribute to Marketing and Communications team’s work to prepare select senior leaders for external visibility opportunities that amplify the company's voice beyond the CEO.

2. CEO Content & Voice

You will be the primary steward of the CEO’s voice - writing and shaping the communications that carry the highest stakes and the greatest reach. From keynote stages to op-eds to social media, you will ensure that every word he speaks in public is precise, compelling and entirely his own.

  • Write and edit the highest-impact CEO communications: major keynote speeches, op-eds, strategic narratives for investor and board audiences and signature external content.

  • Drive the CEO’s external thought leadership agenda, including the strategy for securing, preparing for and maximizing high-value speaking engagements, media appearances and industry platforms.

  • Own the CEO's social media presence at a strategic level: the content strategy, the editorial POV and the growth agenda - with authenticity and reach in equal measure.

  • Set the standard for CEO briefing materials, ensuring every event, interview, panel and engagement is supported by preparation that is comprehensive, strategically framed and befitting a CEO of a category-leading company.

3. Team Leadership & Internal Alignment

You will manage a team and build a function, not just manage output. And you will ensure that the CEO's voice lands as powerfully inside Uniphore as it does externally, keeping employees connected to leadership, strategy and the moments that matter.

  • Lead, mentor and develop the CEO Executive Communications team, setting the standard for craft, strategic thinking and execution excellence.

  • Build the systems, processes and tools that enable the team to operate at speed and scale without sacrificing quality or strategic coherence.

  • Lead the development of the CEO's internal communications strategy, ensuring employees feel genuinely connected to leadership and company direction through town halls, company-wide communications and leadership moments.

  • Define the measurement framework for executive communications impact and deliver regular reporting on reach, influence and outcomes, with a clear lens on the function's demonstrable value.

What We Are Looking For

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in executive communications, with substantial tenure as a senior advisor or function leader supporting a CEO or C-suite executive, ideally in B2B tech or enterprise SaaS.

  • A proven track record of helping CEOs develop and own bold, differentiated points of view, not just producing polished content, but shaping the ideas themselves.

  • Exceptional writer and strategic thinker and able to operate at the highest levels of craft while setting vision and leading others to execute against it.

  • Demonstrated ability to build executive communications functions from the ground up: defining strategy, developing talent and creating the infrastructure that makes a team excellent.

  • Proven ability to influence at the C-suite level, including presence, credibility and judgment to push back, offer counsel and be heard.

  • Deep expertise across the full communications mix: major stage speeches, thought leadership content, executive social media, internal communications, media and panel preparation.

  • Strong people leadership experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams and elevating direct report capabilities.

  • Exceptional discretion, judgment and emotional intelligence. This role operates in the CEO's confidence.

  • Genuine curiosity about AI and enterprise technology; experience in the category is a meaningful advantage.

  • Comfortable with regular travel, averaging one to three trips per month, domestic and international.

You Will Thrive in This Role If You

  • Have spent your career thinking about why a message matters, not just how to write it, and can articulate the difference.

  • Know how to take a CEO's raw conviction and turn it into a narrative that moves an industry.

  • Are as comfortable in a strategic planning session as you are in a final draft review at midnight before a keynote and traveling on the road with a CEO.

  • Lead with a clear point of view on what great executive communications looks like and hold your team to it.

  • Are energized by the idea that the work you do shapes how an industry thinks about a company, its CEO and the future of AI in business.
