Our Internal Data team powers decisions and applications across MongoDB, supporting teams in Go-to-Market (GTM), Product and Technology, Finance, and HR. As MongoDB scales, we are making a significant investment in becoming a truly Data-Driven Enterprise — one built on trusted, governed golden data assets, world-class self-serve capabilities, and AI-ready data infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-visibility, company-defining initiative that will transform how MongoDB teams access, trust, and act on data.
This role can be based in one of our major U.S. offices (New York City, Austin, Palo Alto, or San Francisco) under our hybrid working model, or remotely within the United States.
As Senior Director of Data Product Management, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of MongoDB's internal data product portfolio, with an initial focus on Go-to-Market (GTM) functions including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. You will lead and grow a team of four Product Managers, partnering deeply with Data Pipeline, Platform Engineering, Data Architecture, and Data Governance teams to deliver the data products MongoDB teams rely on every day. These products span data pipelines, canonical datasets, dashboards, APIs, ML models, and self-serve frameworks that power analytics, AI, and business decision-making at scale.
This role is ideal for a seasoned data product leader who brings both strategic vision and operational depth — someone who can engage credibly with C-suite stakeholders, inspire a high-performing team, and drive a complex, multi-workstream enterprise initiative from vision to measurable impact.
