Overview:

We're seeking an exceptional Senior Director of Engineering to lead our product development teams and Cloud Operations for our portfolio of four products. This position will report directly to the company’s CTO.

What You'll Do:

  • Owning the Development, QA and Cloud Operations functions for all of our SaaS products, you’ll build high performing teams and drive engineering excellence through continuous process improvement and coaching.
  • You’ll work closely with peers in product management, design, and executive leadership to deliver high value, high quality product releases and exceptional customer experience.
  • As a leader, you'll build and mentor engineering managers and individual contributors, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and customer obsession. You'll establish engineering standards, drive architectural decisions, and ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.
  • You'll own non-functional roadmaps for each product and work with product management to build and execute development plans that allocate capacity with intentionality across functional and non-functional priorities in line with product and broader company strategy objectives.


What You'll Need:

  • You have 12+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles managing managers.
  • You've built and scaled engineering organizations of 30+ people and have broad and deep expertise across diverse technology stacks and tools and processes supporting and enabling agile development best practice.
  • Your track record includes successfully delivering complex, intra- and inter-product initiatives while maintaining operational excellence.
  • You're an exceptional people leader who can inspire teams, develop talent, and drive accountability.
  • You have strong technical judgment and can make sound architectural decisions while staying close enough to the code to guide your teams effectively.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and modern observability tools is essential and you should have experience driving the usage of AI tooling to value within and SDLC context.
  • You communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and thrive in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.

Preferred:

  • Experience with specific technologies in our stack, prior work in our industry vertical, or a background scaling engineering organizations through hyper-growth phases would be particularly valuable.
  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required for candidates with equivalent experience.
