Role Overview

As the Senior Director of Marketing Strategy, Operations & Analytics, you will be the strategic right hand to the Chief Marketing Officer and the operational backbone of the entire marketing organization. You will design and own the operating system that allows a global marketing function to move with speed, precision, and accountability: setting the strategic agenda, running the planning and decision-making cadence, and translating the CMO's vision into clear priorities, plans, and measurable outcomes.

This is a role for a senior operator who thrives in ambiguity: someone who can frame the strategy, build the plan, align the stakeholders, and drive execution to closure, all while building a data-driven marketing culture from the ground up. You will own the marketing analytics engine, the MarTech infrastructure, the planning discipline, and the cross-functional relationships that connect marketing to revenue. As the CMO's most trusted partner, you will bring structured thinking and a steady hand to the organization's biggest decisions, hardest problems, and highest-priority bets. And as Aeris scales, you will scale the team, the processes, and the operational rigor right alongside it.

Responsibilities

Marketing Operations & Performance Analytics

  • Build and own Aeris's global marketing operations function, ensuring seamless execution of GTM strategies across markets and teams.
  • Architect and manage dynamic lead scoring, nurturing, and conversion models, optimizing funnel efficiency and tightening sales alignment at every stage.
  • Lead a data-driven marketing function, leveraging predictive analytics and real-time attribution modeling to optimize demand generation and accelerate pipeline performance.
  • Champion marketing automation and MarTech stack optimization, ensuring the right tools are in place, fully leveraged, and continuously improving campaign effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Translate the CMO's vision into a clear, coherent strategy for the marketing organization: framing the hardest problems, developing options and recommendations, and helping leadership decide where to focus and where to place its biggest bets.
  • Drive high-impact strategic initiatives end to end, leading annual and quarterly planning and ensuring marketing priorities, resources, and investments are tightly aligned with Aeris's revenue and growth objectives.
  • Define, implement, and track marketing OKRs and KPIs, building clear accountability across teams and creating the metrics, reporting cadences, and leadership narratives that show how marketing is progressing against business goals.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across the C-Suite, marketing, sales, finance, and product teams to accelerate business growth and ensure GTM alignment is built in, not chased.

Budget, Investment & Financial Partnership

  • Partner with finance and sales leadership to own marketing budget management, headcount planning, and investment forecasting, building integrated resource plans and developing clear tradeoff recommendations for the CMO and leadership team.
  • Optimize marketing investment allocation and forecast pipeline growth through data-backed decision-making and continuous performance analysis.

Executive-Level Influence & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the CMO's strategic proxy across the organization, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities, cross-functional execution, and shared accountability for outcomes between marketing and every function it touches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, partners, and vendors, ensuring marketing initiatives are aligned with Aeris's broader business objectives and that leadership has clear visibility into marketing's impact.

Organizational Leadership & Change Management

  • Lead marketing team operations, driving continuous optimization of internal processes, workflows, and ways of working.
  • Drive talent development, performance calibration, and organizational effectiveness, ensuring the marketing team scales with the business and operates as a high-performance function.
  • Champion best practices in marketing operations, analytics, and demand generation, setting the standard for operational rigor and execution quality.
Qualifications

  • Senior-level experience in marketing operations, analytics, and strategy, ideally within high-growth SaaS, cloud, or technology companies.
  • Deep expertise in marketing analytics, funnel optimization, and demand generation performance measurement.
  • Hands-on experience with MarTech stacks, including CRM, analytics, and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong financial acumen and ownership of budgets, forecasts, headcount planning, and investment tradeoffs.
  • Strong strategic thinking and proven ability to drive marketing efficiency, pipeline growth, and revenue impact.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to scale teams, processes, and reporting structures in a rapidly growing company.
