About Carrot:

Carrot Fertility is the leading global fertility, family-building, and lifelong hormonal healthcare platform providing care for everyone, everywhere. Trusted by more than a thousand multinational employers, health plans, and health systems, Carrot's comprehensive clinical program delivers industry-leading cost savings for employers and award-winning experiences for millions of people worldwide. From maternity through menopause and pre-pregnancy through parenting, Carrot is dedicated to expanding access and improving outcomes. Carrot empowers members with compassionate, personalized, and inclusive support.

The Role:

We are looking for a leader to manage Carrot’s growing Outcomes Analytics team and develop structured approaches for measuring program performance and engagement. This role requires a blend of strategic insight, technical proficiency, and real-world application of analytics to inform business decisions. The Senior Director will drive initiatives related to market engagement analytics, health outcomes evaluation, and network optimization, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide data strategies while collaborating closely with Carrot’s Enterprise Data Team.

This individual should demonstrate expertise and have hands-on experience leveraging a modern, cloud-based analytics tech stack to develop, test, and implement measurement strategies that provide actionable insights. While not responsible for enterprise data engineering or infrastructure, this role requires practical proficiency in working with large datasets, designing analytical frameworks, and leveraging existing tools to build scalable and defensible methodologies.

We’re looking for someone skilled in advanced analytics, business strategy, and communications. This role sits at the intersection of clinical outcomes, product member engagement, and finance—working closely with the Carrot’s Enterprise Data Team to measure how user behavior impacts revenue and health outcomes. This individual will be responsible for translating complex datasets into strategic insights, leveraging forecasting, predictive modeling, and statistical methodologies to support customer engagement strategies and business objectives.

We need this individual to be driven to form hypotheses, dig for answers, and position us to drive outcomes that are meaningful to our employer and health plan customers. This individual must be able to form conclusions when data is incomplete and make recommendations that are defensible and scalable over time to the public markets. This is a highly visible role, so stellar communication skills and experience in working with executives are a must.

This is a critical role for a dynamic leader who will instill confidence in Carrot’s ability to measure and communicate meaningful outcomes. If you have a passion for solving complex problems, improving health outcomes, driving revenue growth, and leveraging data to make a significant impact, we’d love to hear from you.

The Team:

This role will report to the Chief Outcomes Officer and work closely with cross-functional partners, including Finance, Product, Growth, and the Carrot’s Enterprise Data Team, to ensure alignment with Carrot’s broader data strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience leading analytics-driven initiatives and scaling functions at early-stage, high-growth startups, ideally in complex or regulated industries (e.g., finance, insurance, healthcare).
  • 5+ years in a leadership role, ideally in the healthcare space.
  • Expertise in developing measurement strategies, forecasting methodologies, and analytics frameworks that align with enterprise data standards and governance.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Product, and Growth teams to align data-driven insights with business objectives.
  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts into strategic business recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with SaaS or engagement-based business model, with varying fee models
  • Experience partnering with Growth and Product teams to evaluate, measure, and forecast user adoption and revenue impact for new and enhanced product offerings
  • Proficiency in working with large-scale data environments and cloud-based analytics tools to derive meaningful insights.
  • Experience with SQL and analytics tools such as dbt, Python, R, and Tableau
  • Experience leveraging Snowflake, AI/ML capabilities, or advanced analytics workflows for scalable decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive leadership and translate data-driven insights into clear business narratives.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Public company experience preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of value-based care models, healthcare economics, and actuarial methodologies is a plus.

Compensation:

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The targeted salary for this role is $220,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
