The Impact You Will Make

Risepoint's Partner Data organization is the operational backbone connecting more than 100 university partners to accurate, timely student and program data. We are seeking a Senior Director, Partner Data Integrations & Operations to lead this organization through its next stage: Reshaping two dedicated teams - Partner Data Operations and Partner Data Enablement, so day-to-day case resolution and forward-looking partner enablement each run to a higher standard.

In this role, you will lead a team who resolve partner data issues, run the recurring processes that keep partner systems in sync, and deliver new partner launches and relaunches. You will transform the team into a Partner Data Integrations & Operations team that runs disciplined, well-governed case management and monitoring, and a Partner Enablement Data team that gets ahead of partner needs - owning onboarding, relaunches, and acting as the systems subject matter expert for partner data integrations. Across both teams, you will instill a product mindset - ensuring day-to-day issue resolution and partner enablement work continually surface and drive broader improvements to Risepoint's partner data products and integrations, not just close individual cases.

The ideal candidate pairs technical fluency in SIS systems and integrations with hands-on operations leadership, ideally built in ed-tech, higher education, or another partner-based, data-intensive environment. This person can read a data flow as comfortably as they can run a case-management queue, and can operate with real autonomy while keeping cross-functional partners - Enterprise Data, Partner Support, Student Success Center, and CRM - aligned.

How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life

What You Will Do

  • Build the operating model, leadership capability, and standards for the Partner Data Operations team - defining how partner data cases are triaged and resolved, and how monitoring and reconciliation work keeps partner systems accurate and reliable
  • Set clear service-level standards and escalation rules for the Partner Data Integrations & Operations team, collaborating with Enterprise Data, Partner Support, SSC, and CRM, replacing today's informal, case-by-case routing.
  • Drive automation and process redesign to cut repeat, low-judgment case volume and free the team for higher-value work.
  • Instill and enforce a product mindset across the organization, ensuring that case resolution and monitoring work routinely surfaces patterns and root causes that translate into broader improvements to partner data systems and integrations, not just one-off fixes.
  • Stand up Data Integration Engineering to work directly with partner SIS systems (Slate, Banner, Workday, and others), producing a repeatable integration playbook per system rather than one-off, person-dependent builds.
  • Serve as the strategic advisor partner-facing technical lead for new partner onboarding, engaging directly with partner IT and SIS teams from day one to scope integrations, unblock technical issues, and set the relationship up as a strong technical partnership rather than a handoff
  • Grow the Partner Enablement Data team into the go-to subject matter expert on partner systems, data, and workflows, bringing that expertise, and a product mindset, into every partner engagement so the team can advise Partner Management and partners directly on how Risepoint's products should integrate for a successful partnership.
  • Champion the architectural fixes that tooling can't replace to shape the cross-functional roadmap and priorities for partner data architecture, aligning Partner, Data, Product, and Technology leaders around enterprise-wide solutions, turning structural gaps into system enhancements and architectural improvements that go beyond what validation and tooling alone can fix.
  • Own the partner data strategy - setting priorities, investment choices, and trade-offs across the Partner Data Integrations & Operations and Partner Enablement Data teams, including owning validation and monitoring tooling (such as an Agentic AI validation tool) and standardizing file formats, data mapping, and integrations across a partner portfolio that today runs on multiple legacy systems with no single standard.
  • Lead, hire, and develop Partner Data Integrations & Operations organization across two teams; report on case trends, launch progress, and team performance to senior leadership, and own the KPI scorecard for partner data operations.
  • Operate autonomously with minimal oversight, proactively identifying issues and driving solutions, and influence decisions across the organization using data-driven reasoning, storytelling, and a strong executive presence.

What Success Looks Like

  • Partner data cases are resolved quickly and consistently against clear service-level targets, improving the partner and student experience.
  • New partner launches and relaunches run on a repeatable playbook and go live on time, without depending on any one person.
  • A capable Partner Enablement Data team is established and recognized as the systems expert for partner data integrations.
  • Partner data is treated as a strategic differentiator, not just a support function, opportunities such as richer application-form and retention data are identified and pursued to improve partner business outcomes, beyond fixing what's broken.
  • New partners experience includes integrations & operations team as a direct, hands-on partner during onboarding, not just a backend resource.

How Impact Will be Measured

  • Case volume, resolution time, and incident rate for partner data issues trend down, with clear SLAs defined and met.
  • New partner launches and relaunches hit target go-live dates at a high rate, using a documented, repeatable process.
  • Manual, repeat case volume drops through automation, and partner satisfaction with data support improves
  • Product and system improvement ideas surfaced from case and partner-enablement work are tracked, prioritized, and shipped, with a measurable reduction in partner-specific workarounds as upstream product gaps close.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Experience That Matters Most

  • 8+ years leading data operations, technical support, or partner/customer success teams, including at least 3 years managing managers or multiple teams. (Must have)
  • Technical fluency with data systems (snowflake, databricks) and integrations (file feeds, SFTP, APIs) and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, comfortable going deep with engineering and data teams. (Must have)
  • Experience in ed-tech, higher education, or another partner-based, data-intensive industry. (Must have)
  • Experience with SIS systems such as Slate, Banner, Workday, and others (Must have)
  • Comfort as the client-facing point of contact on technical onboarding conversations, not just an internal operator.
  • A track record of building or restructuring an operations team, setting up intake, case management, and service-level standards. (Must have)

Experience That’s Great to Have

  • Background in partner onboarding, implementation, or customer launch and migration management.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Jira-based work management (epics, sprints, backlog prioritization).
  • Prior experience partnering with Enterprise Data or engineering teams on system enhancements and data-quality initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with Product teams to translate operational or partner pain points into product requirements, with comfort operating with a product mindset in an operations seat.
