How will you make an impact?

  • As a Senior Director of Product Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll guide strategic initiatives driving innovation and growth across our portfolio of scientific solutions.
  • You'll develop and execute comprehensive product strategies, from concept to commercialization, while leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value to our customers.
  • This leadership role involves creating product roadmaps, driving go-to-market strategies, and building strategic partnerships to expand market presence.
  • You'll collaborate across divisions to align product development with customer needs and company objectives, while optimizing portfolio performance and P&L management.
  • This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in serving science, working with advanced technologies that help our customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

How will you get here?

Education
Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of product management experience with demonstrated success in P&L management required. Preferred Fields of Study: business, science, engineering, or related field
 

Experience

  • 5+ years of people management experience leading successful teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, including cloud computing, AI, and data analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Experience in driving global business initiatives and commercial strategy.
  • Effectiveness in cross-functional leadership and matrix organization navigation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities with strong business acumen.
  • Expertise in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insight development.
  • Demonstrated success in new product development and commercialization.
  • Experience with business development, partnerships, and strategic collaborations.
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage ambiguity effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-40% (domestic and international).

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $231,200.00–$346,775.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
