About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to define the strategy, vision, and execution of Vectra’s groundbreaking initiative to transform the Security Operations Center (SOC). This solution harnesses classical AI/ML and Agentic AI approaches to radically transform the entire SOC operational model, enabling enterprises to more intelligently process alerts, to identify and resolve real threats faster, and to identify changes to the environment that will lead to better future outcomes.
This is a hands-on leadership role involving early-stage product definition which requires a deep understanding of how SOCs operate, the technologies deployed within them, and how AI can be harnessed to reimagine how a SOC should be built. The Senior Director will work directly with customers to understand their needs and pain points, while closely tracking the competitive landscape. This role is responsible for shaping a strategy that creates clear competitive moats and defensible differentiation in the market.
The role reports directly to the CTO.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision & Market Differentiation
    • Define and articulate our vision focused on transforming SOC operations through AI.
    • Develop a product strategy that builds clear long-term differentiation in the market.
  • Customer-First Execution
    • Engage deeply with customers and partners to understand their workflows, challenges, and needs.
    • Translate customer insights into product requirements that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Collaboration & Influence
    • Work closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
    • Partner with C-suite executives to align the SOC transformation strategy with Vectra’s overall business goals.
  • Thought Leadership
    • Present the solution to customers, analysts, and the industry – positioning Vectra as the leader in AI-driven SOC transformation.
  • Mentorship & Team Development
    • Act as a mentor and role model for other PMs, sharing expertise and fostering growth across the team.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of product management experience with at least 5 in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of SOC operations, workflows, and technologies (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, XDR, cloud security).
  • Hands-on, customer-first mindset with proven success translating customer needs into differentiated products.
  • Strong grasp of competitive dynamics in cybersecurity, with the ability to craft strategies that create sustainable moats.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-changing environments, with the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining focus on outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence; able to influence across the company and with external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success mentoring PMs and driving cross-functional collaboration.
Why Join Vectra?
