About the Role
ChargePoint is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to own how products are brought to market and drive measurable commercial impact. This leader will oversee product marketing across hardware and software offerings spanning commercial, fleet, and residential segments, ensuring strong positioning, effective launches, and revenue impact.
 
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for both strategy and execution. You will partner closely with Product and Sales leadership to define go-to-market strategies, equip the field to win, and build a high-performing product marketing function while directly contributing t key deliverables.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
You bring deep expertise in product marketing within EV charging, cleantech, or adjacent industries, along with a proven track record of building and scaling PMM functions. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, creating compelling positioning, enabling sales teams, and driving adoption through high-impact launches. You are highly collaborative, operate with urgency, and leverage AI tools to increase speed and scale of output, resulting in measurable pipeline growth, improved win rates, and strong market presence.
Requirements
  • Deep familiarity with EV charging or adjacent energy/cleantech markets, including buyers, sales cycles, and competitors
  • Proven experience building and leading product marketing functions
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positioning and messaging directly
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Engineering
Preferred Skills
  • Experience leading go-to-market strategies and product launches across multiple segments
  • Background in competitive intelligence development and sales enablement
  • Experience managing and developing product marketing teams
  • Ability to present to analysts, press, and customers as a credible industry voice
  • Proficiency using AI tools for research, content creation, and analysis
Location

Campbell, CA

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $203,800 to $300,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
