About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Role Summary

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead the strategy, messaging, and go-to-market execution for Salesforce's Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment — one of the company's highest-growth opportunities and most strategically important audiences.

This role requires a rare combination: a world-class marketer who obsesses over buyer truth, and a decisive leader who drives the business forward. You’ll own the full SMB PMM function — from narrative and positioning to product launches, sales activation, customer storytelling, market insights, and social — while leading a team of talented product marketers doing some of the most ambitious work in the company.

The SMB opportunity at Salesforce is hiding in plain sight: millions of lean, fast-moving businesses that don't need an enterprise platform — they need their best hire. Salesforce and its turn-key agents are that hire. Your job is to make that undeniable.

You will report directly to the VP of Global SMB Marketing and partner closely with Product, Sales, and Field Marketing to turn market truth into pipeline.

What You'll Do
  • Messaging & Positioning: Own the SMB narrative end-to-end. Develop and maintain the definitive positioning and messaging framework for Salesforce's SMB segment — grounded in deep buyer insight, competitive reality, and the unique value of our full product portfolio (Agentforce Sales, Service, Marketing, Slack, and more).

  • Product Launches: Lead high-impact go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product releases and features targeting SMB buyers. Coordinate across Product, Sales, Demand Generation, and Creative to turn launches into market moments that drive pipeline and ACV.

  • Sales Activation: Build the tools and content that make SMB Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) unstoppable — pitch decks, talk tracks, competitive battlecards, objection handlers, and training. Serve as the bridge between the market and the field.

  • Insights & Storytelling: Act as the authority on the SMB market — buyer behavior, competitive landscape, macro trends, and the evolving AI opportunity. Turn intelligence into strategy, and transform customer outcomes into compelling stories that make ROI undeniable.

  • AI Transformation: Lead the team’s integration of AI into operations — leveraging Agentforce to scale content, research, and execution.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and inspire a team of talented product marketers. Set a high bar, unblock obstacles quickly, and build strong cross-functional trust.

What You Bring
  • 10+ years of B2B product marketing experience, with significant time spent in SaaS or technology.

  • SMB Focus: Direct experience marketing to SMB buyers is strongly preferred.

  • Buyer Understanding: Demonstrated ability to articulate the SMB buyer's daily reality, pain points, and decision-making drivers.

  • Messaging & GTM Leadership: Proven track record crafting positioning that cuts through crowded markets and leading product launches that generate measurable business impact.

  • Results-Oriented: Focused on driving revenue and business outcomes rather than just managing activities.

  • Executive Presence: Highly comfortable presenting to CMO-level leadership and driving cross-functional alignment.

  • People Management: Experience managing and developing senior product marketers, including Directors.

  • Agility: Fast execution skills with a knack for removing friction and enabling team success.

Why Join This Team?

The SMB opportunity at Salesforce is one of the most exciting areas in the company. You’ll work with a product portfolio spanning Agentforce, Slack, and core platforms at a time when AI is fundamentally transforming what's possible for growing businesses.

This team moves fast and thinks big. Zero-to-one work happens scrappily and decisively, while scale is achieved through sharp execution and real influence. If you're looking for a role where you can do high-impact work, build something meaningful, and lead a team that pushes for excellence every day, this is the place for you.

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what’s possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.
