About the team

Given the rapid growth of CoreWeave, and the capital intensive nature of the infrastructure that we provide, we are building out a Strategic Financing team.  The team will be focused on identifying the most effective and efficient way to finance CoreWeave and the infrastructure required to support our customers and the explosive growth of the AI industry. We require a strong team member to help us with, among other things, modelling, presentations in power point form, research, analysis, etc.

What you will do

We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded individual for our Strategic Financing team.  This role is ideal for a senior finance leader with 12-15 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, private equity, structured finance, or corporate treasury, including a proven track record of leading teams and delivering large-scale financing solutions.  The ideal candidate excels in navigating complex and ambiguous situations, drives organizational alignment at the executive level, and brings a strategic, enterprise-wide mindset to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, structure, and evaluate strategic financing initiatives to fund infrastructure investments, client contracts, and continued growth.
  • Oversee development of financing models and frameworks, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide objectives.
  • Assist in due diligence processes, negotiations, and execution of major financing transactions.
  • Drive alignment across executive leadership, Board of Directors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure financing strategy accelerates business priorities.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of capital markets trends, investor appetite, peer benchmarking, and emerging structures to inform capital strategy.
  • Drive high-visibility special projects to propel the business forward.

Who you are:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other business major is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive leadership experience in capital markets, investment banking, private equity, structured finance, or corporate treasury, including managing high-performing teams
  • Advanced analytical skills with an ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on new ideas and concepts
  • Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills, with a demonstrated track record of executing complicated financial analyses
  • High level of self-sufficiency with proven success at self-teaching and a high intellectual motor
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

The base salary range for this role is $191,000 to $255,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
