About the Team

As a member of our North America Presales team, you will sit at the exciting intersection of Product Management, Consulting, Marketing, and Value Management, gaining unique exposure across the entire business. In this role, you’ll do more than just present software solutions; you’ll communicate and demonstrate how Workday’s applications bring the future of work to life for our prospects and customers.
Our team is defined by a mission-driven commitment to creating a brighter workday for all, fueled by a high-performance culture where we balance accountability for results with a genuine sense of fun and mutual support. We achieve collaborative impact by working hand-in-hand with our sales counterparts to drive growth through integrity and innovation, consistently showcasing the transformative power of the Workday platform. Ultimately, we foster an environment of continuous growth, empowering you to bring your best self to work and sharpen your skills alongside a diverse and highly skilled group of peers.
By joining this team, you become a vital storyteller and strategist, helping us maintain our momentum by illustrating the tangible, transformative value of our solutions.

About the Role

Enterprise Architects are our top customer-facing technical experts. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Workday customers and prospects, serving as a key customer-facing expert on the under-the-hood technology, architecture, and security for some of our most advanced platforms, and help craft the overall solution strategy to achieve their business objectives. By leveraging your expertise and understanding of enterprise SaaS and AI Solutions, you will establish yourself as a leader with a valued point of view. With deep Contract Lifecycle Management and Spend Management expertise, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the world's largest companies through their Source-to-Contract evolution—transitioning organizations from legacy processes to AI-augmented workflows and using intelligent contracting to bridge the gap between static agreements and dynamic spend management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect Complex Spend and Contract Strategies: Lead technology solutioning for high-stakes opportunities, mapping Workday Strategic Sourcing and Workday CI & CLM (Evisort) into the broader enterprise landscape to achieve specific business outcome, and resolving architecture, security, integration, and AI technology questions during the sales cycle.

  • Serve as the Technology Thought Leader and  Architectural Bridge: Act as a strategic point of contract for the product team to design cross-platform integrations, resolving complex technical questions during the sales cycle and establishing the blueprint for how software solutions acquired by Workday unify with core Workday, without assuming responsibility for post-sales implementation.

  • Lead Executive Technical Overviews: Act as a strategic advisor to C-Suite stakeholders—including General Counsels, IT Leaders, and Heads of Procurement—translating business needs into technical visions and helping customers scale their use of Evisort.

  • Map the Source-to-Pay Landscape: Analyze dependencies between core Workday Procurement and acquired products; develop solution maps that define data flow and architectural "actuals."

  • Develop and Maintain Resource Bank of Technical Materials: Build and maintain our own internal reference library of information on under-the-hood platform AI technology, architecture, integration, and security information for use across the organization.

  • Drive AI Thought Leadership: Educate customers on the state of AI, explaining how contract-specific LLMs and Custom AI Models can be applied to solve unique challenges in industries like Healthcare, Finance, and High Tech.

  • Drive Competitive Differentiation: Partner with sales to articulate the unique value of Evisort’s AI and Strategic Sourcing’s collaborative tools against legacy competitors.

  • Orchestrate Internal Alignment: Collaborate with functional SCs, core/specialized AEs, Value Management, and Product Management to ensure a unified customer experience from discovery to technical hand-off.

  • Manage Technical Compliance & Proposals: Serve as the pre-sales point person for technical RFI/RFP responses, InfoSec, and Security reviews specifically for Sourcing and CLM, navigating the rigors of legal and data privacy scrutiny.

About Workday’s CLM and Spend Management  Solutions

Workday’s Spend Management suite provides a unified, cloud-native "source-to-pay" ecosystem designed to give organizations total visibility and control over their expenditures. By integrating these solutions, businesses can move away from siloed spreadsheets and legacy systems toward an automated, data-driven approach to procurement.  The suite is highlighted by two primary strategic pillars:

  • Workday Strategic Sourcing (formerly Scout RFP): This solution streamlines the entire source-to-contract process. It provides an intuitive, collaborative platform for managing sourcing events (RFPs), reverse auctions, and supplier onboarding. By centralizing communication and data, it allows procurement teams to make faster, more informed purchasing decisions while ensuring full cross-departmental visibility into the pipeline.

  • Workday Contract Intelligence & CLM (formerly Evisort): Workday Contract Intelligence & CLM (formerly Evisort) leverages industry-leading AI to transform how organizations handle legal and commercial agreements. By combining advanced AI and OCR to automatically extract key terms and risks from existing contract repositories with a comprehensive end-to-end infrastructure for drafting, negotiating, and executing new ones, the solution turns static documents into actionable strategic data.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.

At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email

Please be aware of sites that may ask for you to input your data in connection with a job posting that appears to be from Workday but is not.
