We are looking for a Senior Equipment Engineer to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Factory Engineering Director and will be based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for process engineering activities of screen-printing operations used in fuel cell stack and column manufacturing.

  • Analyze operational metrics, inline process performance, and define reaction plans.

  • Define preventive and corrective actions to eliminate root cause of failures.

  • Deliver productivity improvements, and cost reductions for Screen Printing operation.

  • Drive SPC charts, tool matching, and yield improvement.

  • Qualify and release new manufacturing equipment to production.

  • Develop and sustain processes, operating procedures, and related documentation.

  • Work in cross-functional teams with Quality, Product Development, and Manufacturing team to develop manufacturing procedures for new generations of technology.

Skills and Experience:

  • B.S. degree (or higher) in Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry.

  • Experience with in-depth analysis of manufacturing data.

  • Experience owning a process module in both a development environment and high-volume manufacturing environment, along with a proven track record of defining processes and procedures for manufacturing.

  • 5-10 years’ experience in manufacturing environments, with hands-on process engineering, manufacturing engineering, and sustaining experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in process engineering in high tech manufacturing, such as semiconductor, hard disk, or solar industries. 

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to understand interaction of hardware and process as they affect the final product.

  • Demonstrated track record of solving manufacturing yield problems.

  • Methodical approach to process development and troubleshooting with depth in data analysis associated with SPC, DOE, pFMEA, DMAIC, fishbone analysis. Working knowledge of data analysis software such as JMP is a plus.

Salary Ranges:$98,400.00 - $141,600.00
