Patreon is a media and community platform where over 300,000 creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. We offer creators a variety of ways to engage with their fans and build a lasting business including: paid memberships, free memberships, community chats, live video, and selling to fans directly with one-time purchases.
Ultimately our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we're leaders in that space, with:
$10 billion+ generated by creators since Patreon's inception
100 million+ free memberships for fans who may not be ready to pay just yet, and
25 million+ paid memberships on Patreon today.
We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Senior Executive Assistant to Engineering & Design to support our mission.
This role is based in San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.
About the Team
Engineering and Design work hand-in-hand to build products that empower creators to earn a sustainable living doing what they love. Engineers partner closely with designers, product managers, and other cross-functional teammates to turn thoughtful ideas into reliable, scalable experiences used by millions of creators and fans.
Our Engineering team tackles meaningful technical challenges across the stack, from payments and platform infrastructure to creator-facing tools and fan experiences. We value strong fundamentals, pragmatic decision-making, and writing code that’s maintainable, scalable, and built with care.
Design at Patreon is deeply collaborative and grounded in empathy for creators and their audiences. Designers are involved early in the problem-solving process, helping define what we build—not just how it looks. They balance craft with clarity, using research, iteration, and close partnership with Engineering to create intuitive, accessible experiences.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide high-impact support to Engineering and Design leaders, helping them stay focused, organized, and operating at their best. You’ll act as a trusted partner, managing day-to-day logistics while also supporting broader team initiatives as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
Own and expertly manage complex executive calendars using Google Calendar, including scheduling meetings, prioritizing requests, and resolving conflicts
Proactively keep executives on track throughout the day by flagging upcoming meetings, deadlines, and changes in priorities
Coordinate and execute team offsites, onsite events, and other team-building or planning sessions
Curate and/or source meeting agendas, prep materials, and presentations to ensure meetings are productive and well-run
Attend meetings as needed to take notes, track action items, and follow up to ensure timely completion
Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support deliverables and shared initiatives
Manage all aspects of executive travel, and help prioritize interviews, speaking engagements, and external event requests
Maintain, organize, and code receipts, expenses, and reimbursements with accuracy and attention to detail
Provide additional operational and administrative support to the broader Engineering and Design organization as bandwidth allows
About You
You are a highly experienced Executive Assistant who brings rigor, discretion, and forward-thinking partnership to everything you do. You thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in enabling leaders and teams to operate at their best.
You bring:
5+ years of Executive Assistant experience, ideally supporting senior leaders in growth-stage or high-growth tech companies

The ability to move quickly without sacrificing accuracy, efficiency, or quality
Proven ability to prioritize competing and shifting demands while maintaining consistency and reliability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support clear and effective internal communications
A high degree of autonomy, with confidence in problem-solving and decision-making
A proactive mindset — you naturally think several steps ahead and anticipate needs before they arise
Experience creating structure, processes, and systems in dynamic environments
Advanced proficiency with business productivity tools, including Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and similar platforms
Experience working closely with Engineering, Product, and/or Design teams (strong plus)
