Job Description SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Finance professional to join the Consulting Services team. In this role, you will act as a key financial partner to our Commercial and Operational teams, overseeing the end-to-end financial lifecycle of our projects—from initial order booking and project setup through to invoicing, collections, and final margin analysis. Roles and Responsibilities
- Commercial Finance & Order Booking: Partner with commercial teams to facilitate order bookings. Ensure all incoming orders adhere to company criteria and compliance standards prior to entry.
- Project Governance & ERP Setup: Collaborate with operational teams to ensure projects are accurately structured within the ERP system, ensuring all milestones are correctly defined and tracked.
- Invoicing & Collections Oversight: Lead the invoicing and collections functions to maintain healthy cash flow, ensuring all customer billing is performed timely and collections are kept current.
- Margin Analysis & Control: Manage project profitability by ensuring “As-Executed” margins are accurately reported. Proactively analyze and explain any variances against “As-Sold” margins.
- Financial Pacing & Operational Reviews: Lead weekly project margin reviews with operational leadership. Translate operational project dynamics into financial pacing updates and provide visibility into project-related risks and opportunities.
- Month-End & Quarter-End Close: Spearhead periodic closing activities. Ensure financial data integrity and provide insightful analysis and commentary on performance to executive leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong experience with ERP systems and project-based financial structures.
- Proven ability to bridge the gap between finance and operations.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain financial variances to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in managing accounts receivable and billing processes in a complex project environment.
- Proficiency in English.
