The Senior Financial Analyst is a critical member of the FP&A team, a key partner to RH executives. The right individual will be essential in developing accurate forecasts, reporting on business metrics and driving strategic decisions through modeling and analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will interact regularly with Executives and Leadership across the organization as well as key accounting and finance executives and in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and accelerate visibility into a wide range of metrics for the business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Live Our Vision, Values and Beliefs
  • Annual budget development and monthly forecasts, long-range planning, and on-going reporting vs. forecasts for various business partners
  • Support the monthly close process including explanations of monthly variances vs. forecast
  • Analyze monthly & quarterly business results, KPIs, trends, and synthesize results / critical business insights to leadership
  • Create, manage and automate operational reports and dashboards to monitor the performance of the business
  • Forge meaningful relationships with department heads and become a trusted advisor, highlighting risks, building sensitivity analyses and driving solutions to problems as they arise
  • Assist with materials supporting earnings releases, board meetings, and executive leadership reviews
  • Perform ad-hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of monthly financial reporting

OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, private equity, venture capital or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with VBA a plus
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and their interdependencies
  • Must be detail-oriented, curious and keen to dig into numbers and variances to propose recommendations and drive improved results
  • Able to effectively communicate financial data to Leadership, Executives and peers
  • Knowledge of Essbase / Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud and Oracle Financials a plus
