Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Firmware / Embedded Engineer to join our Wi-Fi Firmware team in a leading hardware company developing advanced Wi-Fi + BLE System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for IoT and connectivity markets.

In this role, you will work on pre-silicon and post-silicon platforms, writing high-performance firmware in C for wireless connectivity features and ensuring optimal integration with hardware.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the design and bring-up of cutting-edge combo connectivity chips used in millions of devices worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Wi-Fi firmware in C for SoC platforms.
  • Work on pre-silicon and post-silicon environments including SoC bring-up and validation.
  • Implement and optimize real-time embedded features under RTOS/Zephyr/Linux.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and system teams to ensure optimal integration.
  • Debug and optimize firmware for performance, power consumption, and reliability.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and system architecture discussions.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong C programming skills for real-time embedded systems.
  • Experience with RTOS and real-time system constraints.
  • Solid understanding of wireless protocols (Wi-Fi and/or BLE and/or LTE).
  • Experience working with SoC hardware platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and a team player.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
  • Familiarity with 802.11 standards and BLE stack implementation.
  • Experience with chip bring-up, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of low-power design techniques for IoT devices.
  • Hands-on experience with debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
