The Front End Design Engineer on MeshMesh bridges design and engineering, crafting polished, intuitive interfaces that make a complex networking platform simple for customers to use.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
• Partner closely with product design to translate mockups into production-quality code.
• Establish and maintain front-end patterns and a shared component library.
• Advocate for design quality and consistency across the product.

Required Skills/Experience

• You have 3-6 years of experience.
• You have strong experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React).
• You have a strong eye for design detail and interaction quality.
• You have experience partnering directly with designers to implement UI.
• You are an Agentic Engineer - you build with Claude and similar AI coding tools, using agent loops, tool use, and well-grounded context engineering to ship code fast.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• You have experience building design systems or component libraries.
• You have a background in visual or interaction design.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $148,500 - $223,900 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $178,900 - $246,000 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
