Wormhole Labs is a core contributor to Wormhole, the leading cross-chain messaging protocol powering the rails that let value move seamlessly across blockchains. Our work spans protocol development, trading systems, and applications, helping bring a multi-chain future to life. We’re a team of builders who deeply care about making crypto accessible and solving foundational problems across decentralized finance.

As a Senior Product Engineer, you'll build and own the development lifecycle for two core products: Sunrise, a Solana asset gateway, and Portal, the canonical Wormhole bridging interface.

We're looking for high agency individuals who want to ship products and impact real users daily. We operate at global scale and support billions of dollars in value movement across networks. If shipping at this frontier sounds compelling, we'd like to meet you.

What you will do
  • Build and ship features across Sunrise and Portal.

  • Own frontend architecture decisions and drive quality for user-facing surfaces.

  • Follow best practices for secure frontend development and build new ones alongside our security team.

  • Maintain and improve testing frameworks and thoroughly test your code.

  • Contribute to open-source Wormhole components (TypeScript SDK, Connect) as needed.

  • Stay current with web3 development practices, tooling, and ecosystem trends.

What we're looking for
  • 5+ years building web applications used globally.

  • Proficiency with Claude Code. We use agentic coding tools every day and look for candidates who are excited to improve how they work alongside the tools.

  • High agency. You identify the right problems and drive outcomes without waiting for permission.

  • Customer obsession. You take pride in building great experiences and care about the business impact of your work. You challenge priorities when the impact is unclear.

  • Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.

What we provide
  • Competitive salary and restricted token units, dependent on position type and location.

  • Discretionary bonus dependent on company and individual performance.

  • Unlimited time off, company-provided healthcare, and 401K (for US employees).

  • Top-of-the-line MacBook Pro.

  • We are remote-friendly. You can work from wherever you have work authorization, as long as you're available ~10–6 PM US Eastern. We minimize unnecessary meetings, but building decentralized systems requires synchronous communication.

Note: This role requires demonstrated experience building widely used web applications. If you don't hear back, assume a polite decline.
