Your Role at Reputation:

Reputation is seeking a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to help push our enterprise social media SaaS application forward. This position will work on a wide variety of projects relating to the Reputation core platform. 

We are looking for engineers who can build simple, fast, and elegant software. The Reputation Engineering team is small, flat, and close knit. We want to hear from you if you are ready to build your technical skill set in a fast-paced, CI/CD environment.
 

How You’ll Shape the Experience:

  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)

  • Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to our users

  • Work in a fast-paced CI/CD Kanban environment and participate actively in feature development and bug resolution

  • Capability to manage multiple projects with material-technical risk across teams and processes; may serve as a functional lead or technical owner.

  • Work on several Reputation products to extend functionality and to maintain zero customer-reported bugs.

  • Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing

  • Additional duties as assigned.

The Skills That Set You Apart:

  • 8+ years of experience in designing & implementing highly interactive UI for high-volume robust web applications 

  • Undergraduate degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.

  • Solid programming skills in JavaScript and React.js / Node.js.

  • Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations

  • Advanced knowledge experience working with relational databases (i.e. Postgres), including development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments

  • Experience working in a Cloud environment (We are migrating to GCP)

  • User-Centric: You have a strong sense of empathy for the end-user and are driven to improve their experience

  • Comfortable distributed systems, message queues, and event-driven architectures
