To stay at the cutting edge, we blend frontier research with real-world execution. Alongside our core product work, Cogent Research serves as our applied AI lab, providing the research horsepower needed to make truly agentic security workflows a reality. We partner with Fortune 500 companies to secure some of the most complex production environments in the world.

We're backed by Greylock & Bain Capital Ventures, and we've built a team with the best minds in applied AI. Our team is comprised of people from:

  • Top universities like Stanford, Berkeley, Penn, Duke, Carnegie Mellon, Waterloo

  • Unicorn, high-growth companies like Scale AI, Databricks, Stripe, Tesla, Coinbase

  • World class cybersecurity experts from Wiz, Abnormal AI, Zscaler

  • Preeminent research labs like Deepmind and SAIL

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior GTM Recruiter to build our go-to-market team. As the first recruiter dedicated to this team, you'll own sales hiring end to end and take on marketing and other business roles as we grow, working directly with our founders and executives to shape how we hire.

What You'll Do
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for our sales organization, and expand into marketing and other business roles as the company grows

  • Partner with our founders, executives, and hiring leaders to plan each search and set how we run go-to-market hiring

  • Map the market and competitor sales teams to find top performers who aren't looking yet, and run the outbound sourcing that reaches them

  • Build a referral program that turns our team's network into a steady source of hires

  • Learn our product and sales motion well enough to assess sellers in context, and partner with Marketing on the story we tell go-to-market candidates

  • Close top candidates in competitive processes and advise them through their offer decisions

  • Coach hiring managers and interviewers on structured interviewing so every candidate is held to the same bar

  • Track recruiting metrics like time-to-fill, pass-through rates, and source quality, and use them to adjust searches and report progress to leadership

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience at a startup or high-growth technology company

  • A track record of building enterprise sales teams at a business-to-business company, including standing up full go-to-market functions alongside executive stakeholders

  • Sourcing depth, including experience building referral programs that become a high-producing source of hires

  • A history of closing candidates in competitive processes, backed by clear and persuasive communication

  • Comfort running a high volume of open roles at once and switching between searches while keeping the candidate experience high

  • You manage hiring managers as clients: you set expectations early and push back with data when a search stalls

  • A high bar and a sharp eye for talent, and comfort building process where none exists yet

  • Proficiency with AI tools in your day-to-day recruiting work - you've built your own recruiting tools or apps with the latest AI tools

Bonus Points
  • Experience with Ashby

  • Experience recruiting at a Series A-B company through a period of fast go-to-market growth

We are committed to building an inclusive and diverse company. We do not discriminate based on gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, civil or family status, age, disability, or race.
