Job Description

In this highly visible role as Senior Hardware Engineer, you will 

  • Drive product from concept to production
  • Be actively involved in system design on embedded computing system products
  • Create hardware specs and develop test plans
  • Capture Schematics using Orcad
  • Work with Layout, Mechanical and SI engineers to complete the designs
  • Bring up systems and execute engineering validation in the lab
  • Interact with cross-functional teams for technical discussions.
  • Address challenging problems and issues
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Engage and drive HW builds and procurement  

Qualifications

  • Seeking at least 4+ years of Hardware engineering experience; 7+ years desirable
  • Hands on board design knowledge, schematic capture, PCB layout instructions, signal integrity
  • Familiarity with design tools including Cadence Orcad and Allegro
  • Thorough knowledge of basic interfaces such as I2C, SMBUS, SPI, UART, USB
  • Knowledge of high speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR4&5, Display and Network interfaces
  • Knowledge of DC-DC step down converter design
  • Experience with x86/Arm Servers and their subsystems
  • Hands on experience with lab equipment and bring up and design validation on products
  • Excellency in debug of issues, analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Added desirable knowledge of familiarity with FW, Linux and scripting languages
